They were a few pages back... I have not looked to see if they are still up.

But, they were pictures from Volume XVI.

Hi guys! Newbie to the forums ^.^
Big fan of S&W here , the contents of this thread really got me curious, and it would be awesome if you guys can help answer some of my questions. I know it's a fact that the West is approaching Volume IV of the light novels, but I have somehow obtained an English PDF version of Volume IV O_O . As well, how are you guys getting the scoop (finding out what's happening) in the later S&W novels? Assuming that you aren't all fluent in Japanese. xD

Well, I do not mess with scanlations since a company has the license for the novels.

But, THAT would be the only way to obtain an "advanced release" of English versions of the LNs.

But, I would not advocate that.

Hi all, I've recently read Spice and Wolf Vol16 in Chinese, and the Afterword says this is the last Novel of the series (or just says this book will be labelled as the final volume on the cover, if you want the word-for-word translation...).

Spoiler for Light Novel Volume 16/The End:

@ Flere821: Please put spoiler tags around your post and label as a final volume summary. Some people may not want to know how the series ends yet.

Hey, I am planning on buying the novels for this series, am in the UK, wondering if there is anywhere but amazon I can get them.
What I am most botherd about however is the cover fo the first book, not exactly good, more along the lines of god awful. It looks like the publisher realised their horrible mistake and the rest will have their original covers intact. However there were supposed to be some "limited" covers handed out for people to hide that shame, but I severely doubt any are still around. Was this ever sorted out or am I doomed to getting a shoddy print job of the original and taping it over the top?

There haven't been any reprints of the volume 1. The cover for volume 1 won't change until if and when reprints occur. A homemade cover is your best option at this point, I believe. However, I wouldn't tape it to the book. Instead, I'd fold myself a book jacket with the original picture attached (printed on, glued, taped, etc.) to the jacket's paper. Rather than risk damaging the book, that's what I'd do.

I started reading the english novels. I just finished volume 2. I think it explains alot after having watched the anime and reading some of the manga. I will finish volume 3 soon enough. Hopefully the 4th comes out soon.

I'm now finished volume 3. I'm ready

Are you even responding in the right thread? Post makes no sense.

This is a light novel thread so "saw the beginning" doesn't apply... not sure what "it" is and what the "mystery" refers to.

Try again? (or post in whatever thread you were actually responding to?)

The main storyline of the novel is described only from Lawrence's point of view.
But side stories are described from various points of view.
For example, Holo, Norah, Eve, Kol (new character), and even Enek...
Though regrettable, there is no point of view of a horse.

I am interested in whose point of view the last episode has.
I want the point of view of Lawrence and Holo to be half-and-half.

Dear Taichi-Kun:

I can't speak for the others, but I don't think you're being selfish. I too, would like Holo to come to the realization that being immortal isn't worth that much, if you lose your one true love.

Yeah, I know that's way corney, too-Disneyish, and overtly sentimental.

But you're not alone with feeling that way.
