@ Eratas: Joking, joking.
Anyway... Really? If I were one of your readers, I'd go WTF at the moment. Irish is suddenly given the key to winning the fight there and then, and he just throws it away. If it were out of ammo, then he should, since Sam might have an extra magazine, but if there are some bullets in the thing, then most readers would expect him to use them. After all, why increase the risk of getting yourself and others hurt, and waste precious time at that? |

@ Rain - He already downed Sam and grabbed the Gun. He even has a knife to Sam's throat. He really doesn't know how to use a gun properly and he uses it in a crappy manner whenevr he gets one. As I said, he's more of an Action Survivor compared to the other two.
@ Demi - Honne was her only friend apparently.

If course. It comes to bite him back in the ass later since be could've used it to hekp with the bomb disabling Also, a lot of his segments would be easier if he had a gun. The attack on the plane is an example. Fighting with a trained PT pilot in a cramped space that's being depressurized is very hard.

The gun was just a regular gun. Also, the only projectile weapon he gets is throwing his knife at an enemy's face when he's desperate. Tatenashi does most of the fughting both in and out of her unit. She even kicks his ass when he does thingd that are less than moral.

@ Eratas: I'm trying to make him an extremely morally grey character, instead of being a dick or asshole 24/7.
I want to make my readers second guess their opinions, by having him as an absolute asshole one second, then being practically a saint the next. Over and over again until one key point in the story. I also intend to have FRACTURE shown as much more of a morally grey organization when I pull Adam into the story during the second season. Kyuukai's torn between doing his job and what he's told is right by arresting or killing Adam... And doing what his conscience says, and sparing Adam for the sake of a woman and 18 kids, and doing what he believes is right. Either choice has major reprecussions in later chapters. |

@ Rain - The needs of the many overshadow the needs of the one. Mactavish believes in this and this is why he treats Irish like a prisoner: His skills could help many, but releasing Joshua helps only him and no oone else.

@ Eratas: ... By superior, you mean higher ranked on the social or business scale? Yes. Like dating your boss.
If you mean superior, as in your opinion on if the person is superior in a sense to you? Then yes again. After all, ACG is way out of my league, but she says I'm well within hers. |
