Whew, just marathoned and finally caught up! I almost cried too when Aoi was crying, pretty awesome. I always get all teary'd up and stuff whenever something awesome finally happens to a character that deserves it! Kinoshita is so bad ass and I'm glad the funny guy is gone, he made Tarou and that one other guy look like great people!

Oh well, I'll watch the raw for now. EDIT: Watched the raw. Subs are not needed to feel its awesomeness. Last edited by Peanutbutter; 2015-03-26 at 11:06. |

Great ending to a wonderful anime.
There are many things to take away from a series and that would be different for everyone, but at the end, this is just so full of positive energy that I feel even the most bitter and cynical person could probably enjoy this ... or maybe that's just the post-euphoric sensation that still haven't left my system after watching the episode talking . I'm glad they didn't make this 100% realistic; after all, this isn't intended to be a documentary. While the industry might still be very ugly as a whole, but as a viewer I'm very satisfied with what the studio intended to do with this anime. Great run and happiness to all who followed this the entire way. PS: Preferably no sequel. PPS: Tarou's still the most based. |

This was... I really have no words
Spoiler for ep 24:
An episode full of emotion from start to end. Truly incredible. I really hope the staff gets inspired enough and we get a 2nd season in the future (and more of Exodus and Aerial Girls please!!!) |

Well, it's over. What a good ride it has been.
Shirobako may present an idealistic view of the work in the anime industry, but that doesn't really undermine its strengths. Likeable characters, interesting story, consistent animation and good pacing. It's probably one of the best anime of the Fall/Winter season (IMO, of course). Given the history of PA Works, I doubt they'll ever make a sequel (Hanasaku Iroha did get a movie, but it was the exception). I wouldn't mind, personally speaking. |
