Christina i can understand since she's now a proper VA and an official promoter of the franchise, not to mention her internet and youtube roots would've garnered a small fanbase for her already. I'd get her autograph if i was there too. She's kinda like a mini-internet celebrity/idol of sorts.

That Takahashi guy, not so much though. He's just another fan like me, albeit more dedicated and hardcore

I seriously cringed a little in side though when the interviewer asked him if he had any messages for the fans at the end of the video >< It didn't seem like the interviewer was too thrilled to be interviewing him in the first place either lol

So, since the Japanese cinema showings are over, will the DVD be out soon?... Or is there a big gap between cinema and DVD in Japan?

Wherever you read that the Japanese theatres have stopped showing it lied. Yes the first run and some of the second run theatres have stopped showing it, but it's currently in 24 theatres with 24 more that have it scheduled to show. The latest date announced that it will be shown will be the 23rd of July in Japan. (5 haven't confirmed showing dates)

I've been keeping track of the showings at this spreadsheet so anyone that is traveling to Japan will have the chance to see it. We're currently at 101 theatres that have shown/scheduled to show it in Japan and three from North America (from Bandai). No word has been announced as to when the Taiwan showings will be.

As for a home release date, that will depend on Kadokawa. I have my speculation, but that is purely speculation at its best.

It'll probably be around the end of the year, to coincide with the release of Volume 10 of the novel.

Blah this sucks, it's almost half way through the month of June and we have yet to hear a final time/date for the airings here in Hawaii. I really think it ain't going to happen. Anyone else here from Hawaii heard anything? I tried e-mailing Consolidated Theaters, but no answer.

Well, Unlimited Blade Works came out about 2 weeks before this did (I think, may have been 1 week), and that's not being released until September 30th. So I'd say mid-October would be the best guess for this thing's release date.
