Well, there is only one more volume left to be released in the US by Yen Press. I got the first six. While their use of honorifics has been erratic, I really like the work they've done. Yen press is also picking up Triage X. They have a release date for the first three volumes.
I wrote about the releases in my blog HERE. With no more HOTD. I'm really looking forward to this one.

Annnd a post for the manga thread.
Like I said before, I don't know how many ppl have already seen this but it doesn't hurt to re-link. I'll leave it with this thought: The Cake Was NOT A Lie!

You can blame Daisuke Satou for being such a lazy ass writer. This isn't the first time he had a long hiatus on the manga and this is longer than the previous one. His brother and partner Souji on the other hand was more than willing to draw if Daisuke continued with the story. Instead he started a new Triange X and Fire! Fire! as well continued creating doujinshi. How I wish Daisuke gave Souji the rights to write the story from where he left off. Too bad changing writers doesn't seem to be honored in manga unlike with American comics. Still, what a waste of a good series. |

Well thanks for the correction. I was misinformed that they were actually blood-related. Regardless, Souji Satou IMO deserves to continue the story since I think he's a competent enough writer. Not to mention HOTD already filled with a lot of fan service which isn't anything new for him since he draws hentai. Since this is the manga's second extended hiatus its pretty clear Daisuke Satou has no direction to where the manga's plot is going. I really don't know what's up with Daisuke and to why he stopped writing again. But if he doesn't come up with new material or pass the torch to Souji or another competent writer anytime soon then this manga is pretty much good as dead like the zombies it potrays.

Well the R18 Adults Only logo pretty much gave it away. Though the art is indeed awesome, Its doesn't look anything like Souji Satou's art style. Saeko's oppai are also way too big. I suppose that's to be expected from h-doujins.

alright, so i'm also guilty of having read/seen this series.
my favorite character is saeko handsdown. do i need to justify that? here's to hoping that this series won't get cancelled. as much as i wonder at the connection between female body parts/panty shots/boob grabbing and zombie apocalypse (truly head-scratching), i actually want to see how it all ends. i wonder why... hmmm...
