It is hinted that they are already fused together. That part with cat in bath. But Kazuma thinks about if it is possible that Chomusuke will change to Wolbach look. We will see in the next volumes.

Well Kazuma acts different to Iris, because she is his not blood related imouto and she is not useless.

That sounds like the Forgotten Realms setting. Demons can only be truly killed in their home realm. If killed in the mortal world they are banned from materializing for 100 years. Only exception is if the one who kills them summons the same demon.

And I thought Horst just went away after realizing the seal was released when he was looking for a sacrifice. I recall Anis ate an explosion spell.

Edit: Oh, he also got exploded in the 3rd Megumin spinoff

At a guess, this is what happens when you have a deity who doesn't pay any attention to their worshipers. And who is incredibly stupid besides. Contrast Eris, who is the chief goddess of this particular realm, but who takes her job seriously enough to literally befriend one of her more troubled worshipers. indifferent. I mean seriously when Kazuma arrived she's eating chips and she laughs at the way she dies (although i get that). She revives Kazuma despite the rules and gives Eris grief for trying to do her job. That and she acts extremely jealous.

Eris all but admitted she became Chris because Darkness needed a friend
