The problem with having Kamiya is that we are already seeing the story through Koyomi's point of view for the series so there isn't really much that he can add to it. The commentaries are mainly about what the other characters are thinking and feeling while they interact with Koyomi.

Haha of course and thanks! Well that was pretty obvious lol (I forgot about them). I am watching Macross Frontier now, I can see why it has and continues to sell well. But that discussion is for a different topic altogether.

ever since ive seen this series ive always had this view that Senjougahara was the most realistic type of Tsundere i have ever seen.
plus the interaction between the characters is the best i have ever seen in an anime. for some reason i when ever i watch it i constantly think of movies due to the shows witty dialogue and hilarious antics of the characters.

Last year, from my personal taste, it was Toradora. No specific character all of them were great, especially Sumire. Loved that fight between Sumire and Palmtop Taiga.... wonderful intensity and surprising reveal about how Sumire actually loved the idiot exhibitionist.
This year, is undoubtledly BAKEMONOGATARI I thought it would have been Phantom Requiem for the Phantom... but not to be. Then there was Darker Than Black Season 2.... nope... not blowing out BAKEMONOGATARI fire at all. This one is going to be purchased and archived along with my GHOST IN THE SHELL DVD's |

No SHAFT anime since Negima was licensed in the US. This includes Sayanora Zetsubou Sensei, Hidamari Sketch, ef tale of memories/melodies, Maria Holic and Natsu no Arashi.
No idea why SZS and ef is still not licensed considering the popularity of it. Hoping Bakemonogatari doesn't get the same treatment. |

It's kind of hellish to translate, for one thing. They have really fast-paced dialog filled with on screen text, etc. Furthermore, at least SZS and Bake are also filled with and rely on Japanese puns for a lot of their dialog, up to and including the plot.
