The Full version of the iM@S OP 1 is enjoyable indeed.
Umm ... although I prolly wouldn't express my delight at it in quite the same way as blakstealth.

That'd be OP2, bud. Still, we might need a stretcher for poor blakstealth.

Check at 0:49. You will need some Resurrection spells and blood transfusion after doing so. |

Midonin's The Two iDOLM@STERs Comparison Diary
Week Eighteen At heart, Makoto and Yukiho are still the same person, no matter which show we're talking about. Makoto wants to be recognized for something other than her perceived image, and Yukiho wants to obtain some self-confidence. The way they go about those things is somewhat different. Some of this has to do with the nature of the show, but some of it is also choices the characters made themselves. Makoto's still a fighter, and Yukiho is still one of the nicest people around, and they're on the same side. Just that in Xenoglossia, that "side" is with the antagonists. Now, on the issue of Ritsuko. The way both shows have been using her is fairly similar, actually. In Xenoglossia, she does lower level work that's nonetheless required to keep the ship running by being a mechanic. In iM@S, she does higher level work that's required to keep the ship running, though, as seen this week, she can step down to the level of the stars once and once again. As far as their personalities go, Xenoglossia's seems a little more fun and peppy. She doesn't look like she'd be known as the "Demon General". And since she's not a main player in Xenoglossia's story, I don't know if I'll get a chance to be proven wrong on that. Comparing these two shows has only gotten tougher as they've branched out in different directions, but it's still fun to do. |
