I commented on the translation, asking if the slight edit I made to it still held true to the original text, though I think the original link I made got nuked. Or imageshack is a hater.

Yeah, uhm, too bad I'm quite iffy on the translations given to me because whoever did it didn't translate the い…くぁああ！！！ part properly, but at least everything that wasn't in the diary-looking entry at the bottom right corner was something I could handle. =/

'I tried editing the first page of that "From now on... and forever" doujin, but the horrible scans made me go argh. Colour and grainy/noisy images are way harder for nooblette me to clean up and I'm definitely not going to kill my hand any further. So, I hope no one really cares that I'm not re-drawing the important parts of the only seven pages. ｗｗｗｗ >____>;

For that kind of image you need to play with the color levels before the cleaning, but anyway there is a lot of redrawing for that doujin, so that would be the mayor problem.

I asked to NaYmCo if she could edit this doujin to English, since she was going to edit the Spanish translation as well. So if you want you can leave the work to her I think, otherwise tell me and I'll tell her to don't make the English version.

When I mean I wanted to re-draw everything, I meant I pretty much wanted to just re-draw the entire doujin. Levelling will only take out some of the grain in a black and white picture, depending on how bad the grain is. With colours.... Levelling will make them stick out more if you do it too much, which I think I did in that first page, argh. But I hate it when things that should be black-ish look faded and arghhhhhh.

That's pretty good, Why would anyone complain about the quality?

About the grains, you're right, leveling won't fix that but anyway it looks well as it is, making something more professional probably wouldn't worth it. IIRC a long time ago I read about a filter in PS that eliminated the grains, I don't know if it's something that comes for default, but I recall seeing a comparison of some pages from the Shonen Jump and it seemed to work pretty well.

So, would you let Naymco do the English version, or you want to do it, LVD?
