The yaoi GROPING part kinda scared me, but it's part of HNI comedy.

It's just the first the episode, the more episodes the better the story flows. We'll note also if the episode is a filler or part of the manga.

Also the way they teach how to box and counter when they talk is simply brilliant for boxing and sports fans.

Still can't believe season 2 has come. I mean, so many sport animes ends before the good stuff (usually finals), but this is different. Instead, we get to see even more

I watched the raw of episode 1 and I can tell it's gonna be great. I really hope the music will be as good as season 1 too.

Hopefully this show will get it's own forum...but what determines if it does or not? Amount of replies in this thread?

I am so pumped, but i'm gonna wait for subs so I dont spoil it.
I did check out the Op&Ed a while ago and they're VICIOUS.
The Op isnt nearly as good as Shocking Lemon but it's defintely good and gets me pumped for the series. I hope it's used IN the series during some fitting emotional scenes like the old intro themes were. The ED theme is slightly better than most of the old ones, HNI never had amazing edings or anything.

The animation looks a lot more vibrant but not quite as details with the body movements and such as the original. Still I'll wait until we see more before I complain too much. It still looks really good but the original series looks RIDICULOUSLY good and actually stands the test of time. I had no idea the series was that old when I watched it a year ago.

lol, Ippo's gf is cute, but I could've done w/out seeing Frog;s gf in a bathing suit in the ending sequence. XDD

Well Kumi must have a big bones, her skeletal structure probably is similar to Miyata one reason why he has problems on weight management.

Yep, Kumi x Ippo. AAAGGGHHH~~~!!! There are hints on the beach ending...But I guess it'll change to another when the series moves one..

Yep Kumi is Mashiba's sister. Tomiko is Aoki's GF. As to why she has a chubby face, it's to make her "unattractive" cause Aoki has has an ugly girl fetish.

Just to knit pick a little, this is really season 4 of the anime. The 1st run lasted 3 years.

I just love the ED beach scene.
After Takamura pulls down Ippo's swimsuit (0:39), Kumi unleases her boxing DNA and smakes Ippo with a flicker jab(0:41) into Ippo's right jaw.

Anybody have a screen shot of that awsome punch?

I don't think we need to make "small talk" i.e. spam in order to get our own forum. These things have to happen naturally. If only 5 of us are watching this thing, even if we get a whole forum to ourselves we won't be able to fill it up without more "small talk". Let's just have fun and say what we want to without thinking too much about forums and post numbers.

Well 5 people making small talk is pretty much the reason why Sekirei never got a forum, just see how things go and not try and force it to much and hopefully the shows popular enough to get a subforum.

Liking the new OP btw, still need to watch a lot of Ippo Season 1 before I dive into this but I intend to catch up very soon.
