Kamachi did say that they got together at some point after Level Upper so I'm not surprised. But, if that's there, then that's a nice callback.

the "arc" is already over, this is just the epilogue..
.for me is a "good arc", mainly due to misaki the rest is the same "touma save the day".

This arc was okay. It definitely wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing either. It had its moments but the pacing could have been better. All in all a good arc but not a great arc.

Now, onto chapter 71
I feel that this could have been longer...but, whatever.

I really do now crave some Touma-Saten interactions. They seem like they would make an interesting duo.

The way some people were talking about the spoilers made one think that "Misaki made ALL of them (including Touma & Mikoto) forget EVERYTHING about the incident". However as we can see that was not true. Whoever made that claim should make a dogeza apology right now!

BTW, it appears the "October issue" will be sold at the end of August already, which means chapter 71 was from the "July issue". So it's not as bad as many think. It's a 2 month break, not a 3 month break.

It's been so long ! I almost forgot about the whole arc.
What an ending for Mikoto. We got the "Why Touma danced with Mikoto". Saten made such a great job here!

I may not be too fond of Saten because of external factors... but the nice thing about her is that she is also a level 0. So they have some understanding towards each other.

I liked when it was showing scenes of the other events, and it had Mikoto and Kongou team up as the "Wind god and Lightning god combo". And of course, Saten-san being the great friend that she is. I did enjoy Touma's teasing, turning Mikoto's words about her friends around on her to include himself.

Wasn't a "bad" ending, but definitely didn't feel like any real sense of closure for an arc this long.

First we need Index Season 3... It's really behind by a lot... The next anime needs to cover Volume 14 - 22 + SS2 where I question if 24 episodes can cover the volumes properly @w@;

I'd actually say she was more aware of it than Saten and Uiharu. After all, she went "Gek" at the very mention of his name since she knows Mikoto has an attachment to him.

Also, this arc clearly showed that Kuroko is not a lesbian. She's Mikoto-sexual.

ehhh I wished there was misaki in this chapter... was kinda expecting misaki to pop out and ask touma for a dance... making misaka jelly... eh sadly it did not happem and misaki was kinda the key to close this arc. (and we didnt saw the other dolly)

As explained in the past, Misaki doesn't really like showing herself in the public.

Also the Index novels + anime clearly showed that Touma and Mikoto were dancing then Kuroko (freaking ruined the glorious moment) kicked Touma out of jealousy. It is also known that Misaki although introduced herself to the memory-loss Touma, she never really met him again until NT7 (Although as per Misaki's explanation in the novel, there is a possibility their paths crossed again between Daihasei arc and NT7. The period of time of when this happened was never explained, where it could be possible it was before Touma lost his memories or it also includes the time after Touma lost his memories).

Also the other "Dolly", as explained in previous chapter, Misaki herself doesn't seem to know where she is as, where she explained that the other Dolly clone is known to be in a certain facility but it is unknown where.

Actually Touma followed up with "huh? Isn't the point where you should deny it?" I am not sure if that means that he is still oblivious or if he was actually aware of the fact that she is a tsundere (i.e. he was hoping that she was saying "It's not like I like that, b-baka!"). I actually think after the sisters arc with his comment about "homemade cookies are best", I'd rather think that he sees her as a tsundere.

How does Saten know his name? I cannot remember that he ever revealed his name to her. Did he do it off-screen when he got to know about Misaka's condition?

Also since I wasn't able to continue past NT3 of the novels yet, can someone tell me (by PM or using spoiler tags) if this railgun scene here retcons anything from NT4-NT10, like him meeting Uiharu and/or Saten and appearantly introducing himself like it was their first meeting or something like that?
