Awww, that was such a nice ending. Up til now I thought of Senjogahara (as a character) and her relationship with Araragi as jokes, and could never keep a straight face with her around. I admit she was redeemed here.

This episode came at exactly the right time since I was starting to see lots of people wonder if Araragi and Sejoguhara-sama were really meant to be together on the episode 11 thread.

The way they're doing it (releasing three more episodes only on the net) confused many people XD Can't really blame them. They should have guessed how much this series was going to do good, and so, ask for 15 slots instead of 12

Anyway, since there's also the fact that we don't exactly know when the web episodes will be distributed, it might be the case to put a temporary sticky out. I don't have time now, but might get around to do it later.

All I can say is thank god SHAFT extended it since could you imagine this episode being 7-10 minutes long? That's what it would've been if Tsubasa Cat remained 3 episodes instead of 5.

I agree, that would have been terrible given how this series is good so far (minus that weird episode 9 O_o).

Hmm SHAFT are sequel happy, this will be their best selling show ever period by quite a margin so all signs point to yes. Though seeing how the 3 remaining light novels fit into the time line as well as the ones coming out... wonder if SHAFT will wait for the book that covers the period in between Bake and the prequel... some of that stuff which we saw in ep 11 flashbacks...

I'm surprised by all the praising this episode is getting. I think this was the first Bakemonogatari episode where I had pause every 3 minutes because I was losing interest. It didn't have any of the elements that made me love each and every one of the previous episodes. An episode like this may have been good in some other series, but as a Bakemonogatari episode it was just incredibly dull.

All the cat flashbacks take place about 2 months earlier. They don't show up in the novel until after the Hitagi date, though.

That makes things even more confusing. Now I have no logical way to determine from when Araragi started spending less time with Hanekawa. A week? Two weeks? More?

March 25 - Koyomi sees Tsubasa's panties. (ep 1)
March 26 - Koyomi meets the vampire.
March 28 - Koyomi meets Oshino Meme.
April 7 - Vampire incident concludes.
April 8 - School starts after spring break; Koyomi and Tsubasa become classmates.
April 29 - Tsubasa's cat incident begins. (ep 11)
May 7 - Cat incident resolved (?).
May 8 - Hitagi falls into Koyomi's arms, Shinobu gets her new name. (ep 1-2)
May 14 - Koyomi meets Mayoi; Hitagi and Koyomi become a couple. (ep 3-5)
May end (?) - Kanbaru incident. (ep 6-8)
June 11-12 - Nadeko incident. (ep 9-10)
June 13 - Koyomi has lunch with Hitagi; meets Nadeko and Tsubasa outside school; Hitagi date. (ep 11-12)

Would be pretty strange if it did. Kinda like focusing on Tsubasa while Koyomi and Hitagi are having their date. I just don't see them leaving Koyomi out for a whole episode.

Unless of course, they were being spied by Dark Hanekawa all along.

I liked the rice-bit. Araragi is really happy that Senjougahara was picking that dab of rice from his cheek, and just as it is typical in the manga, she would surely put those rice grains in her mouth. Instead, she tossed them in the trash which resulted in another bemusing and equally humbling experience for Araragi.

I'm sure he is never going to fall for that, "Araragi-kun, say ahhhhhhhh."
