Oh my aching fangirl heart...that PV! Makes me think back to a few years ago when I got into this franchise. April 3rd can't come soon enough.

Whatever the problem is, it's there, and I'm not liking it. Given how packed Spring will be for me, the possibility of me not watching this is getting quite high, which is a shame, because I used to love the Nanoha franchise. And it would be another example of how changing studios can ruin a once popular franchise.

What b33g is pointing out is that the art style of having big eyes is not new to the Nanoha franchise as a whole, even way back in the original. Hell, it even came to a head in the movies, when you have promotional art showing Nanoha's eyes taking nearly half of her head, and those were made by 7 Arcs themselves So it's really has nothing to do with studio changes or changing artists: it's really just been its style from the very beginning. So faulting the Vivid anime for an aspect that's been present in previous Nanohas is quite the oddest logic. Before someone tries to say it, if you don't want to watch this then that's your prerogative and none of my business, I just disagree with the logic of how that conclusion came about.

Implying* u're watching an anime because of its art style.... Do you love the Nanoha franchise because of its art style or what? and its very unusual not watching it because of the art style. Oh well, with that logic, u'll miss out a good show. Have fun with ur spring. Its quite annoying when I come here to see some good reactions and I keep seeing people just crying about the art style. I don't see how you would care about the art style that much to ruin ur experience.... I'm not even that big fan of the art style but I don't care about it. I watch the show for the characters and plot.

On the other hand of course, blaming the ViviD amine exclusively for having "big eyes" when the Nanoha character design always had big eyes from the very beginning is much akin to having red hotdogs as a favorite food yet hating on tomatoes only because they're red. Quite... illogical.

So what you're saying is theres nothing wrong with judging the cover of a book because the cover plays a influential role....? I don't see how the way it looks would be as important as the characters and plot. I've never seen anyone rated an anime low because of its art style. Never in my entire life when watching anime has art style even affected my enjoyment. I haven't seen a bad art style before. They're all unique in their own way. The art style just can't ruin the whole experience, and the art style for the anime isn't even bad at all.. Its just something new from what the people is use to and they just can't seem to accept it for some reason. It has its own appeal.

Never said that. As I already mentioned in an earlier post, trying to judge an anime by its art style isn't the best policy considering that there are in fact anime that are quite great despite their art. However, keep in mind that it is unfortunately quite easy for people to be influenced by the art and animation in their decision to see something, since anime is meant to be enjoyed with the eyes afterall.
