Well flock me....
I won't consider them truly alive again until they make something of the level they did Last Exile or Welcome to the NHK. i.e. Make a good, profitable series. But if they learnt their lessons from the latter half of last decade's failures and will make good series, then I will welcome this news. They have had the potential. Hoping they finally fulfill it consistently. PS. Some people refer to Trinity Blood ep1 as Last Exile 2. :P

It'd be nice if they went and remade Rosario and Vampire back along the lines of the manga, considering the wealth of material now in place, rather than the mass divergence and focus on harem/fanservice antics the series showed. Given the nature of the series they could actually fairly reliably (even if a little cheesily) retcon the second season as an experiment by the Academy Headmaster and continue as though it never happened.
I enjoyed thier take on Rosario and Vampire, but anyone who's read the manga and watched the anime can fairly quickly see how much it pales in comparison to the source material; my brother only read a few chapters of the manga before he agreed (and he liked the series too, found it quite funny like I did), and it's only got better since then (it's on chapter 73 now!) Seeing more Full Metal Panic would also make my day. I rewatched some of it recently and was reminded how much I had loved it (I liked all 3 series, although ironically I prefered the first [Gonzo's] to TSR)

Wait.. Gonzo is dead ? ( edit : Or are they alive.. Im puzzled by this thread and dont want to go through all posts ) And here I was hoping that one day, we will get continuation on the Saki anime as the end of the season would have implied. I guess that ain't gonna happen .. . According to wikia though it says the animation was produced by Picture Magic from ep 15 onwards so is there still little of hope left ? ;_;
Looking at other animes that Gonzo did I don't see many good ones. Actually the only ones I recognize as being worth of watching were Shangri-La, NHK and Samurai 7 so I won't really miss them.

So is Gonzo really back? Cause I'm watching Gankutsuou right now and the love bit of my love/hate relationship with them is coming back to me.
Gonzo had some kickass shows but they always seemed able to screw something up in them (and yet I still enjoyed many of them).

Gonzo should stop trying to adopt other people's stories, and go back to make good original shows. Reviving Vandread's sequel, for example, would be one way of getting me interested.
