And looking at the spoiler Ryuuen becomes a quite a puss after getting beat up by Ayanokouji huh.
Ayanokouji is like a inferior version of Kaitou but its enough to make ordinary people shit their pants. I really do love Kinugasa's MC since they are all not ordinary.

So it looks like Ryuuen was 'ordinary' after all. So much for his monologue...

Damn, it would be freaky to see Ryuuen actually caring about his classmates after this....

Beating up someone to the degree where the person loses his old self.... Ayanokouji must be able to use Hokutoshinken lol *actually his opponent would be dead for sure*. But a simply bashing is 'death' for Ryuuen. Actually, this method works on majority of the people lol.

Karuizawa must be glad to see a man who is willing to beat up her bullies in front of her. I can guess that scene must be quite impactful to her.

I guess readers liked the ending and I'm glad they are all okay in the end based on some twitter messages from those who got early copies. Reminds me of those 青春ドラマ where everyone becomes friends in the end. Was even a guy who didn't particularly like her, but he felt the need to cheer for her nonetheless.

Karuizawa falling for Ayanokouji didnt seem unnatural at all. Probably one of the most natural way for falling for someone among most of the LN in MF Bunko. So there's no reason to reject these two becoming a couple lol.

I mean we have girls in other LNs who falls for MC in the very first volume at just by seeing him when his facial features are described as being dull lol.

The only issue is the author itself, he doesn't have a clue about how to end his own LN's, a friend told me about Koakuma Thiiri to Kyuuseishu where the main girl Thiiri lost and Elize won, totally unexpected.

That ending/pairing....was a bit unexpected lol. The way how Koakuma ended.

To be honest it was ended abruptly because they needed to go back to making eroge. So the last two volume of Koakuma was pretty bad since it was totally rushed.

It was unexpected in the sense that the best girl actually won for a change, but it was not really unexpected because Elise was best girl. It's an endless paradox.

Their latter interactions after volume 4 felt natural but I honestly thought it was sorta weird that Karuizawa didn't resent Ayanokouji more for his blackmail in volume 4 especially because of how forceful he was in coercing her. His actions in volume 4 was pretty morally horrific and you have to wonder if it's going to come back to bite Ayanokouji in the future.
