If anyone wants any help I'll be able to lend a hand after I finish Jump. But yeah, I understand being busy a lot better now that I'm out of college and employed full-time..

Any of you guys use Peavey Vypyrs? I have a tone here that pretty much matches the K-on one.

Cool! What settings did you use for that? I have a pretty decent K-on tone on my Line 6 Spider but not perfect. Needs tweaking.

Is that like, "man I wish I had a bass" or more like "I'm gonna go buy a bass now"?

I'm not sure how well these will translate to the Spider, but if you want to see then here they are: Clicky clicky

Jump is finished. A bunch of the notes were really wrong for some reason, just obviouslly wrong stuff like things being a half step up or something. That was weird, but the song was fun.

Yasei no Jounetsu is next, and then I'll take a more thorough look at GO! GO! MANIAC

Yasei no Jounetsu is done. Simple and short.

Upon reexamination, there are some moderate differences between the old GO! GO! MANIAC and the Let's Music 4 version, so that'll be next. Then probably Aozora no Monologue.

I'm looking at an Epiphone Les Paul Standard at the moment. I've been wanting since I started :P

Actually, as I can now start working, I'm gonna get saving for a Gibson :P

I dunno, having a Gibson is sick, no doubt about that, but I would prefer to allocate my money towards better effects pedals or amps or something. The price is just so high

Well, it doesn't help that I'm primarily a keyboard player with guitar coming second. I actually don't trust my ears to be able to tell the difference between a $500 guitar and a $2000 one.

ok, let me add to your confusion if you don't mind, XD.

@BigSmokeDawg: really nice choice. hey, if i will have the chance to get a guitar that i want, a gibson les paul would be at the top of my list (number 2 might probably be ibanez or jackson). but waiting sucks haha...

@trenton_dawn: pretty busy i see. that's like the 3rd tab you've posted this week. i'll look forward to go!go!maniac! take it easy, ok.

At CaptnAwesomee's request, I've taken over Oh My Giita and Shiawase Hiyori. GO! GO! MANIAC is on hold temporarily, but Oh My Giita is done. I can't believe how many syllables Yui manages to fit in each line. Shiawase Hiyori is under progress now.

Edit: Shiawase Hiyori is also done. This song repeats a lot, a lot of copy/paste was involved. I mean, 3 separate D.S./coda combinations in one song is kind of overkill. Anyway, if you haven't already done so, look up the English lyrics (assuming you can't read Japanese), they're so cute. Going to finish up that GO! GO! MANIAC tab next.

Edit edit: Also added a tip in the master list about what to do if your MIDI instruments are out of sync with your RSE in GP5.

Thread needs more Mio love.

Speaking of Mio love, getting around to the guitars in Seishun Vibration (everything else is done except for guitar 1/2), I start plugging in the tabs and it sounds absolutely bizarre. I then notice "[kanji kanji kanji] chuuningu" at the beginning of the guitar parts and that the key signature is a half step up everything else (guitars are in A Major where the rest are in Ab Major). Does this mean the strings are tuned down a half step and the musical notation is written up one half step to compensate?

Hmm, don't remember seeing that before. The easiest way to deal with that is to look at the guitar parts and try to match the fret with the note (e.g. 5th fret on the E should be an A natural. If it's not, you can adjust the tuning so that it matches). But it sounds like 1/2 step down tuning.

Edit: double checked, it IS half step down if you were still wondering.
