This episode provides us with about four minutes of great fighting, Jaune being an idiotic butt-monkey, and a bunch of boring drama. Ho-hum.

I can't wait to see Jaune humiliate himself by wearing a dress.

Well, now we know why we haven't seen Velvet and her team for a while, apparently they were busy planning the dance and then went on a mission that took longer than usual. I guess we'll see them in the next episode or two.

Also, in that one shot with RWBY leaving the arena, was that Sun's entire team? I could only make out Neptune thanks to his hair.

EDIT: Yes, upon closer inspection I can confirm that the rest of SSSN has arrived at Beacon.

P.S. Am I the only one who finds it weird how incredibly pleasant and polite Pyrrha's voice is? I don't think it's bad, it's just..................is it even possible for a human being to sound so..........polite?

Wow, credit where it's due and they put up a decent fight, but Pyrrha wrecked them. Cinder is virtually her worst opponent though since she has no metal to control, only magic.

I must've watched too much anime, but I can't even understand why Pyrrha's so attracted to him. It just seems like an ass pull from the creators.

This. Its just as much as her fault for not being more forward about it. She obviously likes him for reasons, so she should go for it. Then again, she hinted that she may have had some bad experiences with boys. Most men are probably afraid of her since she can kick their asses. Jaune is probably the first guy who hasn't 1. run in fear of her awesomeness and 2. Not challenging her to a fight 24 7

Jaune's learning to improve his skills but his inferiority complex still lingers. It's why he chases after Weiss and doesn't notice Pyrrha. Though as Dengar said Pyrrha's not exactly helping her own case.

And why we see now why Arryn remarks Blake is "obsessed" about pursuing the White Fang. Seems like Blake can't forget about the responsibility she held in the past.
