Welp, as a semi frontliner (can't claim being a pure frontline after farming for Harukaze), I have 80 ships locked:
-10 on E1,
-24 on E-2/E-3,
-20 on E-4,
-26 on E-5.

CVL were really a tight spot. I wish they release more FAST CVL. 5 of them is really not enough with all the bogus locks.

All Japanese CVLs are in the game but for the unfinished Ibuki (a CA convert). So any CVL more likely has to come from the USN side with the Independence-class.

The loading time for the drop was pretty long. But I still didn't expect her to drop that fast. Was expecting some random Ise-class for the trolling.

How do you reach K node for E-3? I don't think it's just "fast fleet". as all of my ships are fast, but not reaching the node.

Your fleet must also be a Surface Task Force to go ACGK.

Try equipping all 3 of your bases with either interceptors or Reppus and then set all of them to base defense - thats how I got it.

Finally finished E4N transport phase, oddly, using 3DD 2CAV 1 CL worked better than 2DD 2CAV 1CV, maybe because the luck of the draw... Now on to the killing phase.

No event DD drops yet, I hope I get the time to farm for them. Another odd thing, I noticed my ammo is still at cap

Alone because one fleet has to go through less nodes before the boss battle, and thus has more chances of actually arriving there.
Moreover, the CV is a deadbeat during Yasen, while a Cl can take out up to 3 ships per battle (4 for ABKM) - Sure a carrier can do that too, but with a single carrier its rather rare.

So is the Iwamoto 21 Zero worth the bother?
The skilled one seems to be a bit better for LBA defense imho. - Totally not sure about this as the only advantage I see is getting an 11 AA plane with converting it further, which would however also reduce its range to 6 making (52 iwamoto)

Finally, after wasting more than 10k fuel and ammo, plus over 80 buckets in trying to get the 2nd starting point, I finally got it this afternoon after failing so much in getting those perfect LBA defenses.

Now, to start planning for the boss runs.

Edit: Made a good comp and send it to the boss. So far good enough to tackle the boss without using boss support.

Looking at Poi statistic, for node M medium, Asakaze drops a grand total of 8 times out of all S drops recorded, for a 0.2% drop rate. I would say no for Asakaze.
On a side node, I got 4 Nagato classes, but no Asakaze.
