Anyway, great update.

Alicia, Alicia, Alicia...an interesting twist and I didn't see it coming (I don't mean it sarcastically ). I wonder if she really is Fate because Precia would not have gone in search of the Jewel Seeds if Alicia didn't die. Alt!Nanoha even said that Alt!Fate chose to go with her mother so I'm assuming that everything in the beginning was canon until Alt!Fate...died? So why is Alicia alive? Or a better question: Is Alt!Fate alive and if so how?

I slowly creapt around the wall next to me. My target was in sight, and I was way past the point of waiting. My clothing clung tight to me as I shifted, not making a sound as I moved in to strike. It could almost taste it now, moving like honey over my tongue as I indulged in the thick, sweet creamy substance. Another step and I could reach out, body shaking in anticipation of sinking my fangs into it.

Just before I was able to claim my prize, Nanoha's voice came from the other side of the store. "Use the tongs, Fate-chan." I stopped and stood up, looking over the aisles of baked goods at the woman who hadn't even looked up from that damn Twilight book.

"You didn't even look!"

The movie's bound to be condensed a lot, so logically they need more extreme actions and reactions to convey a character's thoughts and feelings rather than time and multiple scenes. Nanoha spent a good part of the first episode reflecting on her life and how she felt like "a fifth wheel" to her own family, so either they can spend a quarter of the movie doing things that way or hurry it up a bit.

Besides, Nanoha hasn't even gotten Raising Heart yet as of chapter 2. She'll pep right up as soon as she's throwing danmaku and beamspam around, just wait and see.

As for the origin of the cinnamon buns, that meme came during the first FanFic thread when we got into an argument over whether or not Fate would look good in Princess Leia "bun" hair or not. FamishedBunkmate was writing a horrible Star Wars crossover (It was really bad. I hope it was on purpose, but I only got here at the end of it, so ask TSS.) and kept pestering the thread if Nanoha should be Luke and save the galaxy or Han and get the girl which led to the back and forth of us asking why was Fate Leia when Vivio worked way better. We then said that if he were determined to make Fate Leia then he needed to go all the way with the hair. Satashi (though she encouraged the story) was a complete "non-bun" (because she has no taste ) and starting bitching about cinnamon buns slapped on Fate's skull. That's when 1st FFT then looked like an image thread for a few pages with all the hilarious Bun!Fate fanart until Skyfall put an end to it. FamishedBunkmate blamed Satashi for his/her/its horrible writing and derailing the thread and was soon banned. Finally peace came back for a bit, but Satashi kept including cinnamon buns in her work to piss out FB who I'm sure is still reading this thread.
