If the issue isn't about length, then what does it matter if it's 4 hours?

Like I've said, this is spread over 3 completely different stories, and cutscene include stuff like explosions, boss transformations, and various other action sequences, not only talking.

Here's something from Ada that probably hints why we have the DLC Catatombs

Ada

A mysterious woman appeared in the before one 's eyes of Leon years 1 998, was involved in the scourge of Raccoon City.
Her purpose was to obtain information and its recovery of G-virus was developed by Dr. William Birkin is the father of Shelley.
2013 - and
Leon and Ada are reunited in the mysterious underground graveyard. The word "neo Umbrella" get glimpses of her around. The purpose of this is that what the hell ... Why

So pretty much Ada senario is Ada and Leon teaming up again like in RE2 and RE4.

Ignoring RE6 cutscene length debates...for now

Looks like RE6 will possibly have regenerating health...? If this is true, then the "horror" aspect of the game will be thrown out the window with this, seriously...this is worrying.

In some odd way I'm surprised that they'd do something like this. What's next, tentacle monsters and bondage...?

i thought they already have tentacle monsters in Evil 4 & 5. you know those
things that randomly pop out of the head of the doods and started all whirly
and shaky walking toward you. i thought they will some kind of tentacle monsters.
and one ugly one at that.

nudity?! there's nothing new with that. i'm surprise they didnt put in any sex scenes
like the Witcher 2 yet.

anyways, any news on PC release? i'll get the game on PC if it comes out on Steam.

Reading down into the comments, it appears to be limited regeneration in the vein of Just Cause 2, Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction, or Resistance: Fall of Man. Still, the question of why full regeneration has become standard - as opposed to an option you'd have to earn - in games whose fiction doesn't support it merits discussion. On which note, I'd like to point to two recent/upcoming games that aren't afraid of old-school health management:
  1. GoldenEye: Reloaded - normally has full regeneration; the '007 Classic' difficulty plays it just like the original's 00 Agent seting. I think 'Classic Health' should've been a setup toggle independent of difficulty (see: Torchlight's hardcore mode).
  2. Enemy Front (under development) - actually has three gameplay modes: Hope (full regeneration), Honor (regeneration eschewed in favor of health packs), and Glory (Honor, with all HUD elements removed)

Here's another trailer. A short one with some new addition scenes added to it. It seems an old possibly enemy from RE1 is making a return. Well enjoy!

In the RE1 remake RE Archives you fight the giant snake twice.

Seems the camo Snake is like Solid Snake VS the military BSAA team lol very fitting.

Well in RE6 the Ustanak can be considered a "Tyrant" in its own right because the creature is like a nod to Nemesis, which was a highly advance T-type BOW. Plus, like Nemesis with Jill, it's suppose to chasing down Jake and those associated with him, so I guess it being a "Tyrant" can be plausible.

The snake I find was also not really threatening. I played RE1 remake on hard and I beat it effortlessly. The snake's patterns are to obvious and easy to get around by.

Yeah, that snake was really annoying. Simplistic but annoying. Chris sure has way of letting past things hit him hard in many ways throughout the series.

Ustanak is alot taller than Nemesis compared to the height now of the RE cast. Indeed they really wanted to make a menacing Nemesis/Tyrant + Bio Commando arm type monster.

As Chris always in the RE series he's the "hard one" to pick less items more HP and no lag on some weapons (RE1 Magnum RE2 Extreme Battle upgraded shotgun).

As for the snake de javu. Either way I think Chris had it rough because in nearly every RE installment he's in someone close to him dies. That probably triggered his 6 month truma and started drinking.
