I can't for the life of me remember the name of this anime movie I saw a while ago.

The main character had a black hand he kept wrapped up in bandages.
I think it was a fantasy style setting.

Anyone have an idea?

I remember it was on Starz, and this was probably five or so years ago.

It's not anime maybe except for the 3rd one. Both 1 and 2 are visual novels(they are not translated).

Possibly Blood+, although that's a series rather than a movie. The character with the bandaged hand wasn't the main character, but a heavily supporting character.

I can think of at least one other series where a main character had a wrapped hand and I feel like there are even more, but Blood+ is the only one that I can think of where the hand was black. Note also that there was a movie called Blood: The Last Vampire which is somewhat related to [b]Blood+[/i] and came out first, but the character with the wrapped hand is not in the movie.

There is however no real kind of term used for such characters. Usually, you gotta be lucky or bet on the story plot of the said series or its genre.

I don't think using "Battling/swords girls" or such would give any good.precise result, as it is just too broad and hardly relevant enough for such criteria.
And my personal label is hardly used so
