Watched episode 5:

Ah, Mahiru almost went the "happy sugar life" route. Good thing she seems to have been cured, or at least partially cured by the end of this episode.

Hikari good at protecting Karen-chan!

1. "Forget" something in the room to stop Mahiru sniffing the pillow.
2. Make noise with her drink to stop Mahiru from doing something with the towel. Mahiru throw the towel to Kaoruko.
3. Forget something in the lockers to stop Mahiru from doing indirect kiss. Ok, this one has to be stopped as it's already going creepy.

Kaoruko-han is getting funnier. XD
Tendou likes potatoes. I thought she would be dieting, but she eat a lot.
And Banana is good at cooking! The potato dishes she cooked look delicious.

/looking forward to next week

Episodes 4 and 5:
Well, it's interesting to see Karen Aijou and Hikari Kagura rekindle their friendship and their promise to perform together after a long excursion outside Seisho Music Academy. And speaking of Karen, looks like she changed a lot after that loss against Maya Tendou.

On the other hand, Mahiru Tsuyuzaki is brimming with jealousy towards Hikari Kagura that instead of fighting against her, Mahiru fought Karen instead... and lost. Wow, being Mahiru is suffering but you know what, I think Karen felt envious towards her talented classmates, which is why she work hard to claim the Top Star.

You just have to appreciate that Mahiru's revue battle is the most absurd so far. Gotta love the cutouts, the baseball motifs and sound effects!

That was way sillier than expected, and I loved it. Highlights are of course Mahiru's attempts at becoming a crazy stalker (Kaoruko didn't deserve that one ) and Hikari's accidental(?) interventions, and that weird but fun battle, very fitting of a jealous aspiring girlfriend, and besides, it doesn't hurt to have different kinds of music every once in a while. I'm not sure whether it was for the best go vie Mahirus issues this type of hilarious treatment,

I'm also interested in the bit with Banana, as it seems to show more about why she does what she does; kinda how Hikari wanted to protect Karen, Banana might want to avoid further conflict between the girls by keeping things unchanged, but of course, that's not gonna fly.

Truly, one remorseless psycho is enough.

Um, did we forget how she locked her up in a shed? And how it was later mentioned that wouldn't have changed anything anyways?

Wait, that's actually more Satou-like than anything Mahiru has done!

You mean cooking non-banana related things. We already saw her muffins.

The cat can't stand on stage with Karen, so most likely not.

We are only in episode 5. Mahiru has time to get jealous again.

Anyway, it's shown that she's a rather talented person herself with all those trophies from competitions... but for some reason she does not have enough self-confidence, and started to become attached too much to Karen.

Could be wrong in remembering.. but I think not attending the revue would automatically count as a loss?

Hikari was actually the one stalking Mahiru this episode.. because she always shows up when Mahiru is about to do something weird to Karen-chan's things.

Well she is from the sticks so a lot of her awards could have been from more local competitions and the like. Which means she is good and talented, buuut, like many a "talented" kid from a small community, once you come to the bigger pond you realize that there are much bigger fishes than you are. Also she might have coasted on talent alone. And didn't really have a drive for it, since this was something her Grandma wanted her to do.

OH and yeah this one was hilarious.

Especially the reactions of those whose reviews they crashed

Tendou and Tsubasa being unsurprised, the Prez reflexively scolding them while the Tired one of course abused that for her advantage etc.

We can just have her fight Hikari, that should be fun.

Yup, but she lost anyway and turns out that's not the end of the world, or her life, so nothing really changed.

Even if she can't get her out of the auditions, Hikari will still do her best to protect Karen, even from stalkers.

Agreed, it's probably a big fish in a small pond scenario.

Anyway, this episode show that it's possible to be seen by others taking a revue. Hmm, so it all happens at the same time for everyone...

Good episode

Spoiler for Spoiler:

But I'm pretty sure the very last bit is what's going to make it for most people.

And that title card in the preview...

Watched episode 6:

This episode teach Kauroku that being too lazy is a bad thing. Funny, she has a hard time even just walking to school. Well, I guess it's a bit of a shock for her that Futaba whom she asks for a foot massage... passed the audition instead of her.

Looks like Kaoruko really has no intention of leaving... she smile when Karen, Mahiru, Junna are trying to talk her into not leaving.

Stage director Masai and scriptwriter Amemiya, I remember them from the previous episode... they seem to like Karen and Hikari to be the two leads for Starlight this year. Things are looking good for Karen-chan, just keep working hard to impress people from Group B!

Episodes 6 and 7:
Wow, I have to say that the fight between Kaoruko and Futaba is amazing, although I'm rooting for the latter because she works hard to be the best and stand alongside her childhood friend.

Meanwhile, I have to say that Banana is the final boss of this show as she beats Maya Tendou with relative ease! Then again, the only thing that bothered Daiba-san is the arrival of a wild card, which is Hikari Kagura.

Banana has a creepy / disturbing voice when she's serious.

So it's Karen-chan gave her that nickname.
