Koneko's Shirone mode is definitely pretty powerful. Ise's reaction was perfect, and the battle between cat and bird for Ise becomes even more intense.

Yeah, I learned that the other day while randomly looking up stuff on Nordic mythology. Vali, son of Odin, actually is kinda prominent in the Baldor-Loki fiasco.

And I wonder if some of the traits of his step-father will be passed down/ rubbed off onto him. Can you imagine an extremely perverted Vali? He and Ise will become best friends!

Actually there's 2 Vali in norse myth one was one of the sons of loki the other Odins son, look up the binding of Loki.

Yeah there are 2 Valis. But Odin's Vali is more prominent of the two. Loki's Vali is practically useless.

In volume 16 it has been implied that he has reached the Heavenly Dragon class, but his actual power level remains unknown.

What we do know, is that ... at the current point in the story, Crom Crauch is still stronger then Vali and Ise, and it will probably take some time for them to reach a power level, where they would be capable of defeating him.

Well, since this topic seems kind of unrelated to the events of volume 16 ... I will post this here

Now to the main topic, I have to say that I have been wondering ... how the inheritance of the Gremory clan is going to look like ... after Millicas becomes the head of the clan.

After all he is probably going to be forced to marry a pure blood Devil, in order to maintain the families status as one of the 72 Pillars, and his children are going to be pure blood Devil's as well...

But, they are most likely going to be less powerful then the children that would come from Rias's and Ise's union ... despite the fact that they won't be pure blood Devils anymore...

Which makes me wonder if the Underworld is going to go through some sufficient change to allow a Devil / Dragon hybrid to become the head of a pure blood Devil clan...

Well, I realize that this topic, is probably unanswerable at the current time ... but it makes me hope that the author is going to do a few thousand years time skip ... in order to satisfy our curiosity about the future events of Ise's life ... what kind of children he and Rias are going to have... since, I definitely think they will be pretty unique ... considering their lineage, how Ise's peerage is going to look like... along with answering the question of how Ise's and the rest of his comrades, actions have affected the DxD universe and probably many other things that we want to know, regarding Ise's potential future...

I guess the household nobles would rather have a Devil/Dragon hybrid than a Devil/Human hybrid since the existence of a Dragon is a grand one.

~A thousand-year time skip just to show what has become of Issei's life is a very good way to end DxD.

You know ... I'm kind of wondering if Ise is going to have a girl with some yandere tendencies in his harem.

After all ... I think that is the only girl archetype that is missing from Ise's harem, since he already has:

- a teasing ojou sama - Rias partially feels up that archetype

- a tsundere ojou sama - Ravel

- childhood friend - Irina

- a kudere and loli - Koneko

- an innocent inexperienced girl - Asia

- a teasing sex goddesses - Akeno (since, I think we can consider her as that

)

- an older sister / older lady type - Rossweisse (assuming that she joins Ise's harem

)

- magician girl - Le Fay

- airhead - Xenovia

- youkai girl - Kunou (since, I think that the author already implied in one of the afterwords that she will become Ise's local wife

I think the answer is pretty obvious ... Rias's descendant is going to be the strongest, since the power of destruction + dragon based powers from Ise is going to form ... a pretty ... deadly combination.
