Full Metal Alchemist: Since up to episode 44 has been released, how do you think this series is going to end? Will Edward and Al be able to restore their bodies?

the entire series already finished...

this is how it ends- and please dont request any link on where to get the rest of the series, its been liscensed for a while now and it is a against the rules.

I was watching 51 earlier, with my friend who's a little behind me in eps, she cried more than I did...Somehow it made me angry. How dare she get more emotional than me...**Shrugs** Anyways, yeah. Sad ending, I cried...Mind you, I mostly cried at the fact that it was OVER and not the episode itself.

the ending is pretty sad...i cried not only cuz it was over but cuz the brothers got separated...al lost part of his memories (i guess it was for the best though)...and ed still wasn't able to get his own body back......

eh... but the movie... seems not to CONTINUE with edo and aru's tale...

it seems to be random cuz in the trailers... they're still together, aru in tin edo in automail. T___T

the ending was too./... open. not good.

Spoiler: Ed gets killed by a homoculus so Al uses the philosopherstone, himself, to reconnect his soul in to his body but in the process sacrificing himself and restoring Ed's missing limbs. Ed recovers from death and finds that he is once again whole and has no idea how, but then later understanding through the dissapearence of Al. Dante the person who forced scar to make the philospher stone is dissapointed that all he efforts has gone to waste and dissapears in a elevator event with gluttony. Making sure there is no one left in the building ed prepares to destroy the entire crypt and sacrifice himself once more to save Al. Though the process was "soposably" unsucessful Al does return to the world but in his original body at the age which he originally dissapeared with no memory of what had happen over the past few years. Ed however is sent to the Tecnological world and is attempting to work with modern day science to return to the alchemical world the series will be continued a movie that will be released ina few years.
