Maybe, I had to check the LN again to be sure. IIRC I can't remember if anything is drained from Laura, her scream is a symbol of her overwhelming emotion (mostly sadness and anger).

Sheesh, there's a lot of things that can factor in the IS's energy shield and energy consumption that it really doesn't make sense in some cases...

Oh that's just great; another thing I have to factor in with the Silverback combat armor...

@ Zero - I thought that the emotions are what "feeds" the VT system? Kind of like the venom suit from spiderman.

@ Jak - You can make up some of your own rules, this is FANfiction you know.

@Jak: Try to keep it simple as possible for Silverback. If you try to think of everything beforehand, you might end up overdoing it and making the final product too bloated (description-wise) to be used in your fic. IMHO might be simpler to stick to your basics and just slowly adapt the suit to fit, without being too decriptive.

All of Irish's equipment have their own rules but they don't contradict anything in canon.

The VT system was honestly too vague to get any details on.

Hell in my fic, when the energy barrier gets depleted, the AD barrier doesn't deactivate the IS. It serves as a backup shield that protects you from any form of attacks while you make a run for it.

Though it gets depleted pretty quickly.
