I have many of them...

Wrath (FMA brotherhood) - real bad ass.

Pein (Naruto) - another cool and stron character, too sad that he was ruined towards the end...

Sasori (Naruto) - can't really explain why... I just love him, probably because of how fricky it is to have a walking, human sized puppet with twisted ideas.

Vino (Baccano) - does he count as one? Well considering what a sadist he was, I guess he does. Well I liked his sadistic nature with some carrying side actually even if it is creepy one. But you would be like behind great Chinese wall with him

Halibel (Bleach) - too bad Kubo didn't make proper use of her.

Alphard (Canaan) - a bad ass female with good look, why not like her?

Tyki Mikk (D.Gray Man) - I remeber how I felt that I would die if he will not show his powers any time soon. He had a great teasing personality with some cool abilities. He also has nice looks

Yomi (Ga-Rei Zero) - does it count? After all whole organiztion was hunting her down later on, what a tragic character

But very bad ass who easily owned almost everyone!

Jakotsu (Inuyasha) - he cracked me up all the time.

Suigintou/Barasuishou (Rozen Maiden) - I wish there were more like them... Suigintou has a nice crazy personality who still is at some point saint and that makes her interesting. Also liked her relation with Meg, it was really good to see how she was changing towards good side yet still kept her role of a villian.
Barasuishou is one cool and creepy manipulative character, betraying other in order to reach her goal is a piece of cake.

Medusa (Soul Eater) - the fact that so many people hate her means that she fullifield her role perfectly!

^^ I consider Vino more of a wild card/neutral character as opposed to a true antagonist like Szilard, but Vino's quite memorable.

Suigintou- my favorite character from the Rozen Maiden franchise and the best developed IMO. She's a more complicated anti-villain type than a straight up evil villain; she does do some nasty things, but she becomes increasingly sympathetic the further the series goes on as more information is revealed about her back story and her motivations which paints her conflict with the other Maidens a bit less black and white. Her relationship with the heroine Shinku is also quite complex which adds more emotional poignancy to their clashes.

I know, that's why I like her. She is very complicated character who can be considered both a good and bad guy (girl) but usually mostly takes a role of villian.

Frieza, he is a twisted bastard who is quite brutal and he is the only character to genuinely frighten everyone. He is a guy you love to hate.

Johan Liebert from Monster. He manages to convey a serene aura that's nonetheless chaotic and chilling. He remains almost perpetually composed in all situations, but can revert to a state of murderous manipulation in an instant. He's frankly chilling to observe, and yet you can't ever really bring yourself to hate him. Despite the fact that he easily and thoughtlessly brings about so much pain and death without even lifting a finger himself, he has a sort of "draw" to him which is really rare to find in any character in any medium.

Second place for me is probably Perfect Cell from DBZ, because he's a badass.

Orochimaru - Naruto - I simply admire his devotion in gaining power.
Zabuza - Naruto - Somehow I feel like I can totally relate to him.
Uchiha Itachi - Naruto - My favourite one, he's powerful and always calm (when he's not killing people of course).
Android #18 & 17 - Dragon Ball - They were so cool when I was a kid, still on my list as favourite villains ^^

Pretty much all I can think of now.

I liked Yagami Light (Death Note) until about episode 19, then he just gets insane. He was pretty intelligent, clever, and I especially liked the parrelles drawn between him and L in the first season.

Char - Mobile suit gundam, again another original which spawn many clones later on in gundam series

L and Light in deathnote - antagonist and villian, their intelletual battles are awesome

Yuna Amakura Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2010 Age: 32	Spoiler for spoiler: Shirazumi Lio from Kara no Kyoukai 7. I love the way he reinforces the idea of lack of normality, making very clear that Shiki is already normal and not empty. Also, his actions in the movie make you really despise and/or hate him, something that I find to be good in a villain.

Also, Spoiler for Rozen Maiden Traumend ep 6: when she returns, she eventually becomes attached and cares for the similarly gloomy Megu, and it's primarily for Megu's sake that she antagonizes Shinku and co. in this season which solidifies her complex anti villain status.
