Hmm... I guess I wasn't pranked after all. It was just CR's subs of 'He means a lot to me' gives off the impression that she's only doing this because of her ideals, as you get the idea that Akuto means a lot to her because he's the 'prince' that she has to save. While Ryuumaru's subs of 'He is an important person (to me)' implies she knew Akuto from before, as saying it that way emphasizes the 'person' part and thus she's doing it for him, rather than giving the idea it was all for her ideals.

Ah, the wonders of translations. Both are technically correct as my JP friends says (although one being more literal), but such a sublte change gives off a totally different vibe. XD

Ahh... I think I forgot the last time this voice actor voiced a character with some intellect... Seems all of her major roles are like this...

I want to think that Toyosaki's voice is just perfect for this kind of character.

But if I remember correctly, she was the one voicing Ooshima in Umi Monogatari---and she was using a voice which is quite different from the stuff you would associate her with. I think it was one of the most unique and interesting performances she had.

Though Ooshima isn't a major role. I still don't remember the last time she played a main character that doesn't act like an idiot...

And yeah, the comparison fits like a glove. That's Etou Fujiko, head of the Disciplinary Committee. Worshipped by her own fanclub. Minxly seductress, fiendishly smart and very manipulative ojousama. And - to top it off - voiced by Itou Shizuka ^_^

She had a total of one line in episode 1, but I already love how Shizu-sama is interpreting this role.

I'm 99% sure that they haven't met before. She's just in her fantasy world and has decided that he's her prince. Boom, instant "taisetsu na hito" (precious person, one step short of lover)

I somehow didn't like the red-haired girl. Not big fond of such HUGE air heads. Unless she becomes more decent later in the series.
