Does anyone know a SWEDISH site where you can order Shuffle?

The reason why it has to be Swedish is because my mother doesn't like me ordering from non-Swedish sites (She's extremely paranoid. She won't eat non-Swedish meat either :P )

I googled a bit but sorry, didn't find anything..
Himeya is an excellent shop, I ordered some games there, very fast shipping and no problems with the payment.

But she wouldn't mind you ordering adult games?

the ansver however is no. Just how large do you think the market is for untranslated japanese games with pornographic content for a country with a nine million population?
And besides, you're four years under 18 (allthough we technically don't have a 18 year regulation declared in the law). And as a tidbit, Shuffle! is by swedish law technically being considered as CP (which is fun because I've been charged custom fees for the order where it was included).

Oh, and stay away from Himeya. They really have outrageous prices, and shipping is not per weight, but per unit. Last time I orderd there I was charged $25.00 for shipping, when the actual ammount paid (as on the EMS label) was $14.
Instead, browse major shops like sofmap, getchu or amazon. Find the best deal, then contact Crescent Shop and have them buy it for you. They take a 20% comission fee (using the product price) and you have to add up domestic shipping (if any) and payment fee (if any). Then shipping (but in this case you pay for the actual weight).

A comparision
Shuffle! from Himeya - $114 (Game itself $95, Shipping $19)
Shuffle from Sofmap through Crescent shop - ~$94 (Game $60, CS Fee $12, domestic costs ~ $9, Shipping EMS to Europe up to 300 grams $13)
Well, you can always ask for an order at CS. Usually, especially for older games, you'll be better off that way though. They're pretty fast, reply fast at emails and accept several payment methods.

Sure, bravo Spuffy! Crescent Shop requires you to send them photocopies of one of your legal documents to prove to them that you're over the age of 18. It seems like you've never shopped before there, have you? Not to mention their handling fees. I think I did some calculations one time when I was considering options and figured out that ordering from Himeya was 5 dollars cheaper than ordering from Crescent Shop with all the extra handling fees. I was buying SHUFFLE! too.

If you can buy from the internet, buy from Himeya. Those extra dollars that you have to pay are well worth the hastle of dealing with middlemen, like Crescent Shop. I'm one of the unlucky people that Himeya does not ship to, but I am lucky enough to know a person in Japan who can forward me my stuff. God bless the guy. Back then, when I was buying SHUFFLE!, I didn't have any contacts in Japan, so I had to order from Himeya and make them send it to a friend in Austria.

In any case, it's still hard to import bishoujo games, but not impossible. Where there's a will, there's a way, they say.

what spuffy said.... Himeya seems to generate a separate revenue stream on their shipping charges. Add to that they often pick up older items off the local bargain bins and then charge original retail for them. I'm not saying they're *evil* ... just taking advantage of the market. Heklin mentioned a couple of others in an earlier post (just search on his posts in this thread). Well... being over 18 helps too... o those silly regional rules about who's an adult and who isn't.

You could also try nippon-export.com -- I don't recall them asking about age...

"Tomorrow can be changed. Take me to the town of wind and grant me the dream of a white flower." The last sentance is a verse from 'Kaze No Machi He' from Tsubasa Chronicle. I thought it sounded good.

Oh, and in case anyone didn;t know, new site for Navel's latest project has opened here:

And pre-emptive before anyone asks, it's an illustrated short-story series running in Magical Cute magazine, based off of a game by Princess Soft, and it's getting turned into an anime. It's not a new Navel game. Just figured I should explain before we get dozens of people asking "when's it going to be released???!"

Hahaha... no, no, you were right - it is a new Navel project. It's just that whenever people around here hear "Navel project" they immediately think "game!", but they also do a few illustrated short-story projects like this one (the other one people around here are familiar with is "Judgement Chime", which runs in E2 magazine). So, it was a clarification, not a correction.

Yes, she would, but I could always say it's something else :P
Yeah, she would fall for that.

Anyway, we don't really have a law about age restrictions here. It doesn't matter if someone under 18 watches porn or plays games with pornographic content. The 'age restrictions' are only there as a reccomendation.

As a matter of fact I've not. I've been using akibado which has a similar pricing system (however only accepting paypal). A friend of me however have been using CS for a while and suggested using them instead. The only reason I'm switching service is because Akibado can be rather slow at times. Then again, last time Himeya took their sweet time for items being marked as available. It was first when I sent an email that my order was suddenly ready and shipped. And that time for some reason they also used a plain thin EMS envelope. Good thing those games only had DVD covers and not cardboard boxes.

Actually, I sent an order for some stuff from Melonbooks through CS a little while ago. And what's the big deal with providing a legal document? I don't really mind (allthough the fact that you have a credit card should be enough). And if I can save some $15 here and $20 there, I'll do so. This year I've bought nine games so far, so it makes quite a difference in the end. And of course, this way you'll also get those nice little extras larger shops include with the preorders.
But it would be so much easier if amazon sold software internationally.
Btw, do you know why they don't sell to Slovenia? Visa should work the same way there and it's an EMS destination.

>>Vexx
Maybe not *evil*, but they are abusing their position.
I could live with retail prices for games being about an year old. But when you see them asking retail price + $15 for a game that is being sold for half the retail price in domestic stores they are at least close to being evil.

>>Toxic
Well, we do have age regulations. But not anyone that says pornographic material is prohibited for people under 18. According to law, if you're 15 years old no restrictions apply.

The big deal is that if the guy's mom hates non-swedish meat, she'll definitely freak out on this. If I were in his position, I'd gladly lie that the game isn't "ages 18 and up" and try to cover it somehow. I don't think he'd have a choice begging his mom for a photocopy of her passport if he wanted a porn game.

Ask them. I did. They simply don't. Then they offered me a chance to pay them through PayPal, arranging everything over e-mail. I kindly refused. That was too risky for me. So, I just made them sent it to Austria.

The "hates non-Swedish meat thing" comes from her paranoia of getting sick from it -_-
She's really afraid of getting sick for some reason, but I don't really care if I get sick. By the way, PLEASE don't call it a porn game. I don't like the sound of that.

@Spuffy: Uguu~~, it really sucks having a late birthday

What's the problem? Sure, it's of the adventure RPG simulation genre, also called bishoujo games, ren'ai games, and sometimes visual novels, still... It's a porn game, an eroge or erotic game. It has porn in it. You can ignore the sex scenes completely, but it's still going to be a game with depicted sex acts.

(I really don't see the problem with sex scenes anway. We're talking how eroge is all fantasy and "dirty", yet simple real life ren'ai stories involve partners that have sex.)

You seem to think that I have something against the sex scenes. I don't.

The reason I don't like calling it a "porn game" is because it sounds like it's pure porn, no story, just sex. I guess that's just me though.
