Since his Hollow Ichigo is a part of Zangetsu that essentially means his Hollow Powers are a part of his Shinigami powers, so he'll lose them too.

....because he's already in another plane of existence. It's sensory perception and illusion. He can alter his own reiatsu so that you cannot perceive it with your senses....Kubo is like that. He does it all the time...with the characters in their names and their abilities.

It's as if he's no longer existing their reality.

The fourth wall separates us from them...in their reality.

Yeah but he didn't say lose all my powers. He specified Shinigami...

Makes sense, but I'm gonna pay attention to that at the moment. Because if Tenshou really wanted to protect Ichigo, wouldn't letting him return to a normal life be the suitable choice? Or will the massive discharge of reatisu / power (I don't what to call it anymore since he's god-like) end up killing him altogether?

And where the hell is this spirit king?

Yeah but he specified "Shinigami"--that means he still has hollow reiatsu. Zangetsu is only half Shinigami. He said he's losing his Shinigami powers

Zangetsu has Hollow powers. This could be the risk that Ichigo is taking. Because he doesn't have Shinigami powers to rely on and now has to use his Hollow powers

We might have horny Ichigo popping out again.

Thats kind of what I meant, maybe this is going to let his Hollow side take over, or make him a hybrid of Human and Hollow, or just Hollow completely (I wish). So perhaps when Tenshou said I wanted to protect you, he meant protecting him from his Hollow?

Meh, I'm just glad Bleach is back on its feet.

For sure, but I was referring to the Vasto Lorde form. Don't tell me that its lost all relevance

I don't think that form will ever lose its relevance, because it plays a big part in the story. We even got to see hollow Ichigo wearing the mask

of course tite kubo would make that kind of drawback with the final form. losing his shinigami powers, its so convieniant and so overused lol. ah well, atleast ichigo looks freakin godly

I agree with most of it except mindset wise, and yea I've noticed the holes, but that actually is pretty interesting

Hah! Everyone and their brother can beat Komamura though. I will admit Tousen's physical strength went up but getting cut up by a vice captain is pretty pathetic, considering neither Ichigo nor Kenpachi could scratch an espada's skin without a significant powerup.

I guess that you're right. I'm just really pumped for him to make an appearance in that form again

That also brings me to another thing. Does anyone else notice the abilities that he's using are more Shinigami sided? Whereas before they were a hybrid of Hollow and Shinigami, and was somewhat shifted towards his Hollow. Or maybe this is all part of the fusion
