This reminds me of the Orville. Seems like shows that blatantly copy from other shows with a twist added are the new trend.

That said, I did enjoy this episode quite a bit. I guess I'll keep watching.

It's episode 1, so we talk about what we think about at the point of episode 1. That's all there is to it. No "wait for it" thing.

Clearly a set up episode, so a bit early to call it. But I'm so getting sinster, plot twist vibes. Finding 'Asahi' felt too much like someones plot in motion.

Going to give it 3 episodes to show it's hand.

Pretty some company did actually make a game where if you died in game you account goes kaput. I can't speak to how successful it is/was, but it's been made and people played it.

Anyone with a brain could figure out that this Union - Re'Union game is suspicious as hell

Rather than "only allowing people with Sense" I assume it's that it "only works for people with Sense". Like there are a lot of games that you can only play if you aren't blind.

Man, so many comparisons between this show and Sword Art Online with added elements from Anohana. Too bad that A-1 Pictures didn't animate Shichisei no Subaru because that would be funny.

Still, I can't wait to see why Asahi Kuga is in the game despite her account being deleted and getting a fatal heart attack 6 years ago.

Several factors worried me
Level of animation is one thing
Weird story telling and game elements like sense
Not sure why anybody want to play game like that

Well...maybe that's not her body that got buried and she's still alive. (just finished a US title that did a similar thing.)

Would you say this one is good? I've been looking forward to it and hoping it's good. Would be reassured if you think the LN is any good. I thought it was underwhelming, but also with the potential to be interesting. I wish it had a bigger budget, but I guess it'll have to make do. That being said, I enjoyed the ending scene.

I'll probably watch this either way. The premise seems interesting/clever enough.
