lol, this was totally unexpected

The game is also kinda old now. usually, new games are the one getting adaptations.

There's a sequel coming I believe. It's the same reason Zestiria got the anime adaptation now.

Having actually played the game, it could have been awesome if it wasn't a technical mess with horrible voice acting.

Ahh, I bought this game on PC but I only played it like 2 hours then never played it again because of its bad control. However, I like its concept and the girls.

So it's not related to any of the Akiba's Trip games? The announced cast even has Takahashi Rie, who didn't even start voicing when the first game came out (and she's certainly not in the second).

As for it being Gonzo, Sore ga Seiyuu and AoKana 4 Rhythm actually were decent shows (former being so good at depicting depressing seiyuu life that I can't finish it XD). So I'm not worried about Gonzo as a studio anymore, I'm just wondering where they're going with the IP.

I've never played any of the games, but if they approach it like that show it could be gold.

It definitively feels like Ikehata's typical wacky style anime. Kind of disappointed that Watanabe won't design the characters, but I'll eventually get used to it if it's entertaining at least.

It actually looks kinda nice, was slightly disappointed after it was confirmed to be original but that PV revitalized the interest. Nice music too.

Spoiler: Premise Spoiler: Set in Akihabara, the shopping area has been invaded by creatures known as "Synthisters" who prey on the patrons of Akihabara, feasting on their social energy and will to live. These enemies can only be stopped by direct exposure to sunlight, meaning that the player is required to defeat these synthisters by violently stripping off their clothes and exposing them to sunlight. The storyline revolves around a conspiracy behind the Magaimono organization that the player explores. Within the game, there will be over 130 real life Akihabara shops that the player is able to visit.
