The first film was a great surprise with lots of strong character drama and good character driven comedy. And the fantastical designs were out of this world. So, I have great hope for the sequel, especially if they can get the original cast and filmmakers.

Okay, when I saw the title, I rolled my eyes at
ogod-squeezing-the=beauty-outofit-like-disney ....
but for once a trailer changed my mind -- this might be quite funny.

Never expected this to get a sequel and after seeing the trailer I'm not against to it. I did like the first film and at the very least the trailer makes it seem like there hasn't been a drop in quality for this sequel.

Well the "Tacodile, Supreme" made me crack up. As did the the "There's a leek in the boat!" line.

There will be a lot of food puns and literal version of food related phrases.

Now if only if it were the real Mr. T reprising the role of the cop.

I'm sure the movie will be decent, but I can't shake the feeling this movie did not need a sequel.

It's kinda... redundant.

Working through ALOT of retail... I've seen this movie quite alot actually... and I had thought it hadn't done that well really... guess I was wrong~

The first movie did have some pretty good jokes in it.... actually, quite alot actually... but the story and some of the characters DID bug me at times... guess we'll see how this one goes~

While the first movie was only loosely based off the beloved children's classic of the same name, the sequel is based on the books sequel "Pickles to Pittsburgh", about a grandfather who tells stories of the ruins of Chewsandswallow (the village from the first book/movie) and the grandchildren who imagine ways that they can fix the post-apocalyptic cityscape.

While it's ultimately still redundant, at least it is based on preexisting materials .
