I found the digests of forthcoming episodes. Usually producers would omit important events from digests, so please take these episode digests lightly.

Hei is trapped. The material that was ordered to destroy has been being delivered in other route. While Suou, who is at the port, is also chased by contractors, she is still aiming for the material. Then, something comes out because of Suou's bullet ...

Ep 07. Title: TBA (Script by Shinsuke Onishi)
Hei and gangs are trying to move from Hokkaido to Honshu. However, all the transportations are under control of the chasers. So Hei tries to escape relying on a backalley courier company. However, the courier company has a hidden business that Hei did not know. And new contractor appears in front of Suou.

Ep 08. Title: TBA (Script by Shinsuke Onishi)
In a luxury overnight express train for Tokyo (Casiopeia), Suou meets Tanya again. The time for settlement is approaching for them. On the other hand, Lepnin, Tanya's boss, requests Hei a certain deal, threatening passangers' lives with bombs set up in the train.

Ep 09. Title: TBA (Script by Shinsuke Onishi)
Going through various hardships, Suou arrives in Tokyo. She is now looking for her mother who waw separate when she was young. Carrying mom's photo book in her hand, she randomly wanders the locations of photos. And finally she finds her mom's mansion near the Gate.

Yes, Hei shaving would be an important event. Getting the zapping abilities back is second. Getting his coat, knives and mask back comes in third imo.

A trailer is out for the OVA releases: Darker than BLACK Gaiden. The OVA episodes are bonus episodes on the DVD/Blu-ray release of the series, covering events between DtB and DtB2, in particular about what happens with Hei and Yin.

However, in my opinion, it is highly unlikely. When she uses her ability Hei is still moving, which implies that her ability is not time control.

When a star falls, it signifies the death of a contractor. When a star fades, the contractor goes into regression (e.g. Havoc from S1). Regressors temporarily lose their powers. In S1, Havoc tried to regain it by going near the gate but she ended up being too scared and failed and died soon after.
