Delicious sketches are delicious. Can I request the Vivio-related sketches?

Electrical ENGINEERS

Emphasis mine.

Need a circuit board? They can make it. Need a program to manipulate the limbs of a robot using a human interface panel? Not so much so

And yes...need more Vivio!

Actually, yes they can. The item is called a PLC, Program Logic Controller. My father was the nuclear reactor operator on the USS Stergeon, and he had things like PLCs hanging around his house just to do the whole automatic lights thing. (Before they evolved the X-10 series of house light and electrical controllers into small programmable items like alarm clocks with buttons.)

And FYI, another name for a programmer is a Software Engineer

Woo! Plenty of juicy sketches! Thanks LVD!

Also, Yagami-ke needs to be animated.

Oh, what I wouldn't give to see this situation be canon...

Which is nothing more then a technical term invented by a group pf programmers to escape the stigma attached to the word programmer. In fact, the exact content of the term is still being debated to this very day, and very few other countries have a proper translation for the term at all.

Anyway, Eva is right in that if you want an easier boot option for your Gundam, you'd need to talk to the programmers, not the engineers. They're responsible for how easy the software does it's work and how much it can do without user input. Nanoha devices are literally a programmer's dream. Once it's done you can ask it anything you want it to do and it'll do it. It'll even do things continuously simply by asking it! And not just pre-programmed voice commands, but actually just asking 'hey, could you do this and that'

I'm actually scared imagining the source code that drives Raising Heart.

ELENs have some programming knowledge but when you're dealing with custom operating systems...that's not their field. Suggestions of what needs to me done or changes maybe but the raw coding? Leave that to the programmers:

I would guess they would have to develop some completely new programming language to code a Device which in itself is quite a daunting task

Debugging that code...scary thought

I totaly oversaw that...

But thanks for reposting the links... this made my day!

Thanks to this I am finally able to see Otto more as a girl.

And we have more standard Barrier Jacked designs.
(The Saint Church ones are pretty cool)

I still think the helmets look somewhat 'meh' aesthetically though.

I stayed away from programming and went into database administration/project management. Come to think of it however, I am passionate at physics and should perhaps do that as a secondary specialization one day. (Never had the tools to tinker around for me to get good nuff to even consider engineering)

Engineers do need programming knowhow when writing firmware drivers. Having firmware lets you calibrate devices and interface the said gadget in meaningful ways. Doing firmware driver involve the black art of Assembly which I don't even want to touch...

and Hayate would've wanted Rein1 and Rein2, not matter of exclusive OR, but a case of AND.

If it fits 't3h plan', use it.

Though if Reinforce Eins had survived, she would not have had the drive to create Rein Zwei. Even if Rein wasn't created to replace Reinforce, she was created to 'carry on her will' so to say.

The silver hair, knightly dress, red cloak and tremendous Light in hand caught my eye, just a few color tweaks and it could've easily been him.

We're roughly worked him out to be from the Demonbane verse, just no idea who... Kurou is seen in this half of the pic: http://www.pixiv.net/index.php?mode=...ust_id=2325817

Anyone with pixiv can save it in photobucket...? ^^;;;

*Kicks both of you.* (How the hell did we get sidetracked like this?)

I still pay my Engineers to do useful things like put in my start button! Dammit! I'm paying them! They'll do useful things that make life easier!

Well, sir. I'M an engineer (and also not being payed by you) and we can install the button. Now as to what the button actually does when it is pushed isn't our problem

Lol you. Ask electrician to install a button for you.

Actually, I wonder about something. Will there be ulterior motives strong enough that would lead to creation of Rein2 if Rein1 had survived for Hayate?

That'd be my job... or would have been my job if I wasn't so horrible at it to the point where I barely passed my programming grades. <_< Hence why imagining Raising Heart's source code terrifies me...

I'll stick to photo/video editing for a living...

Also, on topicness:

Nanoha/Reinforce Eins Unison? Yes please!

Not really... Reinforce's death was really the catalyst that led to Rein's creation.

Though if you throw in the previous picture, you may create a fandom motive that the two want a child of their own. Pure fandom stuff though.
