I am not sure if I can recommend the game yet. I got it when it was half off personally, but I thought the districts, corps/fleets, and tile management were novel enough to keep playing.

Sigh, they can't even fix start locations for 2 months (had to download a user fix), yet they're doing a new expansion.
Honestly, the game is fun but stuff like that really makes me hesitate... probably wait for it to go on sale. Well, at least the return of city culture revolts is good. Ah, and circumnavigation. Basically stuff from civ 4. =p Meanwhile....

Rise and Fall is out, and the changes are tremendous. I was surprised how they came up with all these ideas, but it does fix a lot of issues such as AI settling too close to you (you'll flip it away with loyalty).
It also brings back famous douchebags in Civ such as Shaka and Khan, for those that were bored with a lack of good war. Governors make it so you can have super cities again instead of just city spamming. And as usual the soundrrack is great; Korea's medieval version of their theme is really catchy.

I will say this as a Canadian, it feel like a mix bag of subtile choice and easy steretype, at least they went for hockey instead of curling. The music going from folkloric from Québec (a call to Nouvelle-France), to something more english-like and endding with pretty much a modified ''O Canada'' is a nice call back to history.
