I'm pretty amused that Tooru in a Tux is making half the women here swooning on their feet. Not that I can blame them, there's something about a tuxedo that instantly lowers a woman's defenses.

Even as a straight man, I can see why female fans are loving Tooru. He was rather dashing in that one great screenshot of him from Episode 8. Well-dressed and well-groomed but not too well-groomed (i.e. the hair keeps him rugged and manly).

And Tooru's playful and teasing personality probably appeals to female anime fans for much the same reason as moe girls appeal to many male anime fans.

And yes, Tooru mainly appeals to us ladies since he is what I would consider "perfect bf material".

At least from my POV. I like guys who are handsome, well-groomed but not TOO well groomed, with messy hair is something I absolutely adore. Plus, I like his attitude. Jerk with a heart of gold. :P And the pervy teasing, it just makes me melt. Bonus points since he has a motorcyle.

It's been awhile since I've seen this many female anime fans on an AS subforum, and I kind of want to encourage/support that however I can. Anime really could use more female fans, imo.

So maybe the anime world needs more Miyagishi Tooru's, lol.

Just checked just now. Tooru didn't comment on Ohana's chest but he did mention about her body development. But he was comparing Yuina and Ohana so I guess he was trying to say that Ohana looked like a child? He did say she looked like she was cosplaying as a elementary student in that episode...

What sticks out of a female's body? Breasts.

Well, at least I interpreted it like that. xD;; But still, he is a bit of a perv. Complimenting on her body a lot is not exactly "normal". xD

The most memorable moment for this character so far is at the end of episode 3 when he and Yuina jump on a bike with "Let's Party ~" coming on. That made me laugh for some reason.

On somewhat on a similar note, I find it rather funny that most of the female fans of this show are rooting for the Tooru x Ohana shipping, whilst most of the guys are rooting for the Ko x Ohana Shipping. "Prick on the outside but soft on the inside" guy vs "Nice" guy. Feels like I'm watching a shoujo drama in this aspect

. Too bad in real life, the nice guy always finishes last

It'd be cool though if Ko-chan turned out to be some really cool person. Like in other animes that have weak characters, they become really cool when the person they're in love with or are precious to them is in danger.

But for now, Tooru is in my heart <3 Because he's the coolest one in my book.
