Well, they tortures her most loved one in front of her for a long time (it is in her dreams, but that just means she can't not look and it is "full HD", she always thinks it was just a dream after she wakes up, because there is a puppet pretending to be the maid right next to her, but when she sleeps she knows it is real). They give her a drug that make her (the maid she loves) unable to fall unconscious and then slowly drill out her bones one after another and fill them up with liquified (and scorching hot of course) steel creature.

By releasing the zombies into the city they cause not only immense shame on her family name (which she is so proud of) but also all her family members to get executed in the future (as she won't be there to take responsibility).

And he also make her use excess magic power (she has 0 mana and yet uses more) to try to save her loved maid, just to have the maid in tears and agony slowly expand and then pooof. Honestly i'm surprised he ended up killing the magic girl in the end. I'm someone who believes death is too easy, so if she's already mind broken, then she should live till the end of her life mind broken. Death simply releases her from that fate.

They are nobles (I think, but at least really influential people) so they would not face so harsh persecution. Also, they lived in a city so no villagers there . If she took the blame (and got executed anyway) they would be clean. While people would definitely speak about that for quite a while (with some slander and such) they would not get executed and at least in open there would be no one blaming them. That's like having a murderer in the family.

However there is a need to find some scapegoat who "Beers the responsibility for it". If she is not there (if not even her body is found everyone will think she run away too) there is a need to prepare some other scapegoat. And if the quality of the scapegoat is low (not direct culprit) there is a need to compensate for it by quantity (whole family).

^ That depends. The dark elf gets her revenge immediatelly, while the bunny has yet to get her revenge (the village is too far so they have yet to come there).
But it doesen't matter too much for his companions. The moment they become his companions they "share" their revenge feelings, so vengeance on the MC's targets feels the same for them as vengeance on their own targets (the same for the MC the other way around).
