I'm surprised there is no talk of this manga here despite the author's previous work being famous. Tsuyoshi Takaki says in his commentary that he wants people to question what we as humans see as "normal."

In a ruined world, a human girl, Roue, and a gear Zett, live a humble life. Then one day, they encounter a mysterious new gear, Chrome.

It is published in mangaplus and its fifth volume is set to be released. Sadly, the author appears to suffer health issues, leading to some hiatus. The artwork for characters is quite awesome that the main character reminds me of Raiden for Metal Gear while others feel taken from Nier Automata. Then again, the original Bladerunner appears to have influenced several works.
