Well, regarding every episode, there's always a different factor, whether it's someone got a better hint of the epitaph, killing order, or fights.

I guess some factor has triggered Battler's memory, causing him to go Kinzane!

Erika does not influence the game. Whether or not she exists doesn't matter. She's just a piece that helps viewers and readers affirm their theories and speculations. The seals on the doors and autopsy can be a metaphor of the red truth.

Jessica's and George's fight was sort of possession. The new demons, Furfur and Zephar makes contracts with people. One of them gives Infinite Defense and courage, and the other makes Infinite Offense and some other thing, and it's to fight for love.
Basically, these two demons god-like when contracted together. However, as most contracts go, there must be a badside.

So those possessed eyes might be Jessica's power level, and the demons having fun with her...

I believe that her name is reference to Oyashiro-sama.

"八城" can read in Japanese as "Yashiro".
"十八" means 18.
Oyashiro can be written as "0 8 4 6" in Japanese.
0 + 8 + 4 + 6 = 18.

In other words, not only "Featherine Au Au" but also "HACHIJYOU Touya" can be reference to Hanyu.

I wonder if 18 also implies that she is 18th person.
"18th" means a author of bottle mails and/or a observer in higher dimension.
Not a person X as a hidden culprit.

Okay final episode summaries for today. Been partying all day and I'm tired lol.

Spoiler for Ep6 summaries:

This section is more of Featherine and Ange as well as the preparations for the start of the 6th game.

- Ange and Featherine discuss events pertaining to Beato. They talk about how pieces in the chessboard are killed and revived with new games. They make similarities to Sakutaro and Maria's pieces. Inside the game world, Sakutaro certainly exists even like a stuffed toy. Ange wonders why Sakutaro couldn't be revived by Maria. Featherine says he did not revive because Maria lost the original stuffed toy and believed him dead.
- Ange contrasts this to Beato's game board revivals which did not depend on the above. Featherine suggests you can continually revive as long as the "vessel" of sorts is not lost. When you lose belief in the true form (?), it is lost.
- Ange says that because Beato gave up believing, she vanished from the world. Featherine says you can simply die and disappear if you stop believing, but you can be revived again once you start believing again. Featherine makes similarities to 1 month, 10 year and 10 years, saying in Witch's times time doesn't really matter (?). She says however that sometimes over time some things just cannot be revived.
- Featherine says that Beato lost so much will and hope to win that she has spent all her energies. Saying in red, there is nothing that can revive Beatrice ever again.
- Narrator describes how Beato's corpse disaappered in the cathedral. The game board would have disappeared after Beato lost all will after the 4th game. However, since Lambda and the witches willed it, the game board continued. Beato is described to be shackled to the board to allow it to continue, likened to a chess game where the time limit is removed to allow the game to continue into infinity. Lambda had to take control to keep the game moving.
- In a way, Beato lost herself in the process. With Lambda in control in the fifth game, Beato could vanish. Featherine says Lambda was benevolent to allow Battler to take control so he could find the truth. Ange says otherwise. She likens that new Beato to a stuffed toy that Battler keeps around (?). Featherine calls it an invented Beato as Battler's piece.
- Ange thinks it's because Battler wants a way to get Beato back. She says she's taken aback by Featherine's red text about Beato. Featherine says that Bern tried to explain Beato's nature in the end of the 1st game. Featherine seems to suggest that it may be possible to "reinvent" her. She suggests that the strange new Beato is like an egg/child of the original Beato to be molded. You could revive her this way.
- Ange wonders what the point of reading this is if she seems to know everything already. Featherine seems to want a fresh look (?) on the material's story.
- Ange recalls the issue between Battler and Beato at the end of the 4th game. She thinks this might be a key to the truth. The books twirl around Ange.

MetaWorld
- Battler is in Kinzo's study (metaworld study I guess). Kakera lights surround Battler with strange geometric patterns about. Battler is apparently weaving the new story.
- Genji appears and congratulates him for completing the 6th game story. Battler jokingly wonders if he'll get Erika's approval with this, but he does it respecting Beato's intents. Battler says he's trying to avoid logic errors and contradictions so as to prevent the board from collapsing on itself. Genji considers the difficulty in formulating a proper game.
- Battler hopes to avoid shame. He wonders if Beato will ever wake up. Genji says something about someone waking up 3 days ago (?) (Beato?), and that Battler hopes he could have shown this person that he understood the game.

- Ange again ponders the end of the 4th and 5th games. She recalls Battler's supposed "non-relation" to Beato that was revealed at the end of the 4th game in red. It is linked to him not going to the island for six years prior to 1986, and how that meeting there was their first, yet even then there has been a conflict between them.
- Featherine and Ange seem to agree that his sin has a relation to Beato existing on the island in 1986. Featherine restates Beato's claim that Battler's sin 6 years prior results in people dying, and that it is Beato who is killing.
- I am currently unsure, but it seems to suggest by both girls that Beato EXISTS because of Battler.
- Ange wonders what this sin is, if it is big enough to warrant the massacre on the island. She cannot believe that he would have a sin that would cause something as horrid as this. Featherine says such a measurement is relative, that some might consider it equal to the massacre.
- Ange ponders what would be considered an apology by Battler for this sin, and considers why Battler always survives to the end. Ange asks Featherine if the clue to this sin is hidden in the story, who seems to also have this theory. Featherine doesn't give a concrete answer and tells Ange to read more.

- Featherine: There is nothing that can revive Beatrice ever again.

At this point early on it's fairly possible to consider that the focus again returns to Battler's sin, which admittedly got no considerations in Ep5. Now of course it gets back into focus.

This leads me to my small issue with the storytelling.

Is it then possible to assume that the scenes between Ange and Featherine aren't exactly part and parcel of the actual story events but rather more like a symbolic representation of the storytelling and writing process as viewed by a reader?

It seems like these scenes are completely outside the events of the actual mystery, and they come across as more like a guidepost that describes the flow of the story from a metaphysical observer's point of view looking into a piece of fiction. In short, like how we as readers follow the story.

I'm not too sure. It's as if as these scenes are there to represent the reading process as well as to suggest an even grander, more meta scale in how the tale of Rokkenjima is crafted, suggesting likewise that the events of Rokkenjima seem to be retroactively shaped by people's interpretations of the events after the fact.

So would happen to be a part of that "Erika vs. Maria" scene shown on the back of the box? Any idea why they're fighting? It doesn't have something to do with Beato, does it? Because we all know the significance Beato serves to Maria, so her death will have to impact her sooner or later.

I've been wondering who Gaap represents. Now that these twins are here, it makes more sense for them to represent Shannon and Kanon. Now the Gaap=Shannon theories don't make as much sense to me.

Nothing, I believe. If you remember, Kanon killed Rosa and Shannon killed Maria, and I doubt they've got anything to do with them.

Like George and Shannon, Kanon and Jessica have to go through a trial. Only one couple can win and gain happiness. Is Kanon adn jessica lose will fo along with shannon from the island and they will never see each other again. If Kanon wins he will stay on the island with jessica forever...Shannon as well.
The trial choose Kyrie as Jessica's victim as her test.
