Mm, yeah, suppose he's one of those instant hit characters that fans remember quite easily, even though he only appears in like 3 eps.
A bit like Kanda really, whos made considerably less appearance than the other 3 main characters in both manga and anime but has way more popularity than most of them.
Maybe the filler epi about Daisya's past in the anime made him alot more popular than compared to the manga.

What intrigues me the most is how Mana is in the list too:S
I mean the dudes had like what, a total of maybe 10 second appearance time in the anime and manga and they are all flashbacks!

Every time Hoshino comes with a new outfit, Kanda's design changes ever so slightly

It seems like spring time for Kanda OK, so we have the very first official romantic pairing with a main character, albeit Kanda is in no way interested but hey, at least it’s something...

So, two months after Cross is gone, and Allen seems to be doing quite well.The setting changed to Paris, and it seems Hoshino-sensei decided to give Kanda more exposure, so he seems to be partnered with Allen more frequently. And from I can tell, thief G is most likely an innocence user or an Akuma (though it seems like the innocence user, but isn't stealing a sin ?)

Will then, hopefully there will be a new exorcists after this.

It's more of a dramatic change in tone. From more reveals, we're now back to the track of the first few arcs: finding and recovering Innocence.

Another time skip... I really feel that the manga is trying to make room for the anime... But in any case, this has been quite an amusing chapter It's good that we're back to simple stories again, that way we could build up a new arc.

Prediction? I say Allen and Kanda (And Marie and Link) would be joining in on the party

Obligatory boob grabs are obligatory, after all, what's D.Gray-Man if too serious.

The time skip's a good thing, the anime's been going at breakneck speed.

It start off with a thief known as Phantom Thief G stealing jewels from a rich people. But, it immediately got caught on page 2 by the policemen. Strange is that the thief said he can’t be captured after been captured?

The story moved on. I got confused on whether its 2 or 3 months after General Cross’s incident? Cause I read basement scans which they translate as 3 months later, but other posts said its 2 months? Anyway, there’s an interesting character introduced in this chapter apart from the thief, which is Emilia (at least for me). I knew it, after she accidently hit Kanda, she immediately fell in love for Kanda in first sight.

What the heck is Black Order doing here? Finding some friends there? Did they know Phantom Thief G, since he’s been caught in earlier page? But they said some? This is what a thought before proceeding the following pages.

OMG,me too, I think Tim become a lot bigger nowadays. Emilia thought that Tim was a bird! Her breasts have been touched by a boy and he immediately been knocked out by her. It seems that she has good relationships with the kids.

Back to the police station, inside the jail. After I read page 8-9, I knew why they came. THERE’s Hell lot of Phantom Thief G been Locked in prison!!!!! After continue reading, the one there want to see were actually Zhizhi and the finders, which been locked too without knowing what’s going, same as others. Another minor character introduced which was Bonnaire, which Zhizhi refer to as neesan? Is Bonnaire a man or woman? Anyway, according to Bonnaire, the original Phantom Thief G is not a human but a ghost(thought still uncertain whether its true or not). 3 info that know about the thief are:

1.the outrageous costume, 2. send a note before committing a crime and 3.has no physical form.

This chapter ends at an officer received a note from Phantom Thief G.

This chapter basically introduced a new innocence retrieving quest with Allen, Kanda, Marie(1st time see him joining to search for innocence/innocence user in this series) and Link, which makes me happy since it’s been a long while we see exorcist finding innocence/innocence user. This time, the case seems a bit strange as all of the thief the policemen caught were actually the wrong one, which makes the inspector almost crazy. This arc remind me of ghost of mateel arc(cause they first think that the doll was a ghost, which just give me a similar feeling). It also remind me of one of the Full Metal Alchemist anime arc where there’s a woman thief(forgot her name), the one that cheat Edward and Alphonse that she steal because she need to save the hospital, church….! I actually quite love Emilia and also the idea of Kanda and Emilia pairing. It was actually quite a funny chapter too with mixture of mystery in it. Allen and Kanda expression were priceless as always. Though its rare that both didn’t argue/fight in this chapter. I hope that Katsura Hoshino introduce a new noah/noahs in this arc which might make the arc interesting in some way-though that might not happen so soon, who knows until the time being.

The only thing that’s strange is that why Katsura Hoshino create another time skip so soon after the 10 days later-around 3-4 chapters only. Again,same here Chaos, it give me a feeling that she wants the anime to fill in those time skip events, which is most probably innocence hunting/retrieving arc from the current exorcist. Another interesting chapter that I enjoy reading this week, looking forward for next week chapter.

Some people might not like or can’t catch up for the fast proceeding story line but I basically love it and that’s one of main reasons why I love to read D.Gray Man manga. (Also love the anime)

Very true. Actually all of the characters go through some subtle changes every time the order issues a new outfit,allen and kanda being the most obvious.If u compare the first few chapters with the latest ones, the difference is surprisingly big. To me the best phase was probably the Edo/ark arc.

Clearly it has! Exactly what has allen been feeding it lately eh..
it seems that tim tends to change size indefinitely throughout the series (remember the first time we saw it sitting on Cross' head it was HUGE!) would be interesting if we got to know why..

This is a shonnen. A boob grab was bound to happen But it does seems as if the manga is trying to give the anime time to fill in the gabs, considering that they are about to catch up to the manga.

It's about the mangaka finding the style they are most comfortable in drawing. Many have changed their style over time (Kubo drawing shorter noses, Kishimoto drawing straighter lines *meaning getting Manga Studio*)
Hoshino sensie is still trying to find her style (though the edo/ark era seemed where she started changing to this one, even though sometimes it seemed as if she handed in incomplete versions of her manga).

With the extension of Cross' words from the beginning of the revelation chapters, what with him wanting to give Tim to Allen... I hada bad feeling back then that it was a foreshadow to something.

The "mask of mana" huh... What does it mean? Why did Allen compare the scenes with Mana and the scenes with Lenalee and Johnny (Which I knew it was another foreshadow)...

THat aside, this quote also says alot

The recorder secret been revealed. It seems that Allen had always acted like Mana since the day he meet him. But he slowly returns to his old-self without noticing until he heard the record from his master, General Cross.

Back to business. The police won’t allow others to interfere in this mission. So, the Exorcist have to capture G in secret. G just appear and steal the clown but was stop by Kanda. Although capture, G seems to has an abilities to switch body with other people to escape. (removing the injuries and give to the transferred person) Allen appear and KICKED G but G throw the clown and switch to Link.

Never expect the recorder secret will reveal so soon. It was an interesting one. Allen is even cooler in this chapter. Now we’ll see the true Allen instead of Allen that wear the mask of Mana(act like Mana) in the future chapter. Allen wearing the mask of Mana is quite creepy though. Those policemen’s reaction is kind of slow IMO. This G’s ability is really mysterious. Wonder how it really works?

Amazing chapter IMO, looking forward for next week’s chapter.

Sorry, that scene was just so epically funny I had to post it.

But honestly, wat was UP with all the outrageous mid-air spinning kicks in this chpater lol XDD" Seems like they've now taken perference to using basic hand to hand (or feet for that matter)combat against this opponent, instead of using their usual weapons haha.Guess coz G's not an akuma its not that necessary to do so.

And looks like Kanda's earned himself an interesting new nickname too (payback for bean sprout I guess?) The way the Chief officer kept using it in the most serious manner was seriously pure crack up. Just how much more original can u get with pretty boy eh

The revelation of Thief G's abilities in this issue now heightens my prediction that it could be an innocence adaptor/it's mind-body shifting abilities caused by innocence phenomenon, the costume maybe?

Yeah, they've really left out alot of the other characters' appearances in the recent few chapters, especially Lenalee, Lavi and definitely Krory. We haven't even got to see how he managed to recover and get back on track with things after that huge farce during the old HQ's move.But have a feeling Hoshino sensei will end his absence soon enough.Wouldn't neglect Krory for that long would she?

I think it meant that Allen was gradually losing his habitual imitation of Mana's character when Johnny suggested that Allen had stopped using polite speech ie he'd been following Mana's way of speaking like a gentleman to most people. A few ppl have mentioned it above already, but thought I'd just point it out anyway.
