not to mention itachi is in his prime and orochimaru has already passed it

sharingan cannot see through a bunshin that is solid. a regular bunshin, or a "mirage" bunshin they can see through.

byakugan cannot, and sharingan is just an offshoot of that.

not to mention kakashi could not tell which was a water clone and which was zabuza.

I think it depends on who sees whom first. with time to prepare (and his arms back) orochimaru has a fair shot at killing itachi.

Just wondering...

Is Bunshin no Jutsu considered a Genjutsu or Ninjutsu? Genjutsus are illusions right?...and the Bunshins are sorta illusions since u cant touch them or they cant touch u...

And the 3 ninjas from the hidden village of cloud at the end of the 2nd round of the chuunin exam were using simple bunshins...not Kage bunshins. The 3 only matches their attack timing with the clones to make it look like the clones were the ones attacking...

Jiraiya may be legendary but Kisame did call Itachi the leaf's No.1. I think he also took Jiraiya and the other two sanins into consideration when he said that...

I dont think Oro would measure strength by the number of jutsus. It may be a huge factor but having a large number of jutsus will be useless without having enough chakra anyways...take Sakura for instance. If some1 gave her a pair of sharingans to copy the whole world's jutsus...it would still be useless for her since she probably cant do most of them with the amount of chakra she has...

Itachi was the Leaf's best when he left- orochimaru and the sannin left already.

bunshin is gen. you cant touch it. it is an illusion. a solid-state bunshin (kagebunshin) is ninjutsu

Orochimaru has the stamina to back up that # of jutsu. so does Itachi. i depends on who has the more jutsu and who can think of the best jutsu to use.

when thinking of the best jutsu to use, it helps to have a wide selection.

but to get those large # of jutsus, you would have to be strong.

do you think that advanced ninjas will just LET this weak shit copy your skills?

hell no! they would probably kill the fuck so they cant go around duplicating their moves.

to get those large # of jutsus you can

learn them by hand

copy them

to copy them you must be strong enough to defeat that jutsu you are learning

or fast enough to run away when he tries to kill you.

Jiraiya would lose to Itachi in normal combat easily because of the power of the Sharingan

but Jiraiya has Summoning jutsu and there is no way Itachi can stop GamaBunta.

So it all depends on who makes the move first. But my money is on Itachi

ok...lets say Itachi suddenly has a crush on Sakura(if this happens im gonna personally fly to where ever Kishimoto is and hang him in public) and then taught her all the jutsus that he knows ....then Sakura wont have to copy them from anywhere...but Itachi didnt have time to help her increase her stamina coz he has a certain boy to kidnap...

Would Orochimaru fear her since she knows that many jutsus?

Personally, I beleive that Itachi could beat Gamabunta, I beleive he could defeat Orochimaru by himself, and Jiraiya by himself.

If Orochimaru is afraid of the power of Itachi, and Orochimaru could destroy a small Country by himself, I beleive Itachi could have handled all of leaf by himself. Not including Jiraiya and Tsunade.

Itachi a Sharingan master at age 8 is not gonna fall for any kage bunshin tricks, all I can say is, I don't live in Naruto's world, and I am scared of Itachi, you should be too.

The charachters in Naruto talk about them, and we have seen shit from them. Maybe you don't watch naruto, or read the manga.

Anyways, when Orochimaru killed the 3rd he used only one jutsu himself(that I can remember: (rebirth whatever), he defeated the Hokage no problem with the exception of the God of death Jutsu, which even he did not know about. I think he could have taken leaf with manda, the other snakes he summoned there, and the 1st and 2nd hokage rebirth. If Gaara hadn't F'd up his part of the deal, I don't know whether or not Leaf would still be standing.

Uh... Orochimaru bases strenght in the number of jutsu you know. It's a fact, he said it in the battle against the 3rd. He said he could only be the strongest if he achieved all jutsu over the world, and thus he needed an imortal life, which he has already achieved.

well he's right. having a large # of jutsus means being more versatile in fights. When oro summoned the first and second I was very surprised. Against anyone else it would have been a world of shit for them but this was a hokage fight. I don't think he'll use summoning while fighting itachi. Hell even Gai can fight itachi just because he learned to fight kakashi without looking in his eye. Strength in naruto isn't like strength in dbz. There are no powerlevels. You can win if you use your head. ask naruto

sakura does not have the stamina to do any jutsu other than bunshin or kawamari.

she CANT learn them because she does not have enough stamina... if you do not have enough stamina to do them ONCE you cannot learn them.
