OMG Inept, if there where man we would post here FIRST THING, but NT 2 came out a while ago, my estimate 2-3 months ok

I'm not sure how to put it into words.

I was thinking about what is already known about GREMLIN and I was wondering how much of a grasp of the situation they had compared to the other organisations.

I was sort of reminded of when people are blinded by their emotions and are fixated on a single piece of information that might not be true, acting on it without bothering to take any other information into account.

Given GREMLIN's purpose, the destruction of technology, I don't see why would they care about information concerning the global affairs. They only need information that allows them to chose a target, info about said their targets, and possibly how to make more damage... Or at least that's the impression I got from them.

Well I don't think they're idiots per say- I've no proof other than the logical deduction that Kamachi wants them to be a viable threat against the world, and you don't get that status from being a KKK-level villain.

The Soldiers maybe, but definitely not the Leaders.

But at this point it's still too early to tell; we don't know what they want because we don't know who they are.

Are they out to destroy Academy City? Or do they want to rule the magic world?

Are they out to kill Kamijou Touma? Or do they have bigger plans for him?

They appeared after WWIII, but is it because of some great tragedy, or was it because Rome had lost it's power and so they're on the rise?

From what I'm getting, GREMLIN's threat lies in their willingness to use both technology and magic.

Maybe it has been there for quite a long time as an already pre-existing construction... it doesn't have to be a specific object to be made as a tool for a magic ritual, right? Probably a magician used that already existing construct and made it into a Kamijou Touma Radar.

You know how In Groove Adventures Rave, when the big evil organization gets destroyed suddenly all the little evil groups start to rush in to fill the empty top seat? Yeah, that's how I see the Gremlins. No matter how bad the RCC and AC got, they still had rules and agreements and they're smart enough to avoid destroying the World blindly- Sort of like the cold war between US and Soviets, neither of them really want another World War.
