Which clearly implied that you asked me to look at the video you posted to make me believe that Batman is agile. Which actually out of context since I’m talking about TDKR-Batman and you posted animated-Batman.

Well endurance wise Bane would have that on them since he can weather so many punches.

For batman, there maybe options but it depends on their age as well.

By TDKR Batman isn't at his prime anymore and that's what Nolan points out in this universe.

In real life if I recall correctly even UFC fighters don't last very long. There's only so much punishment a guy can take before he has to retire and move on and by the TDKR rises as the doctor pointed out, Bruce's body wasn't exactly in pristine condition.

You can't push your body past its limits for so long without seriously injurying it. Bruce Wayne managed to destroy his knees by simply using them too much and in situations that wore the cartilage beyond its limits.

Hence why it looked like he was using some kind of mechanical brace that supported (separated) his upper leg from the lower leg at the joint.

Batman Begins
- First outing even after he took down dozens of Falcone's men when he gets up from bed we see dozens of bruises all over him and that's with the heavy armour.

The Dark Knight
- After the parking lot fight we see Bruce stitching himself up from big dog bites and we also see dozens of scars all over his body.
- Fight with Joker has him get hit several times with a steel pipe
- With Dent if I recall correctly he fell and hurt his leg and that's probably what happened to it.

There was an article pointing out if someone could really pull off a batman and the doctor interviewed stated he would probably last no longer than 1-2 years due to the stress and physical strain that'd be put on the body.

In the Incredible Hulk, when General Ross asked the guy how old he was, he thought he was forty but was really 35ish and stated that special forces takes a huge toll on the human body.

technically batman is a normal human and has the endurance and physical capability of a human , still doing the things he does, like gliding and jumping from top of the building and fighting many thugs at once it would result in physical exertion and heavy physical injuries,

he is not a super bullet proof alien from another planet that can defy gravity(if you know who i'm pointing at), yet he is better than that

Batman is also the one feared by just about everyone. Even the Justice League.

He may have no superpowers, but he has the brains and monetary resource to counter anyone (it seems).

The only one that is considered to be a greater detective than the Batman is Holmes, and he is dead....usually.

Finally watched the movie and i have one word to describe it: Epic!

Spoiler for my review:

I love the movie and how it closes the Dark Knight saga. It was a good thing i avoided any kind of spoilers so i would be caught by surprise and the connections would come to me later after remembering some of the Batman mythos.

The action was epic and the best fights were between Bane and Batman. I enjoyed Bane, a charismatic and hammy villain who's a tactical genius with brute strength. I even cheer when i saw Bane "Broke the Bat". I love the acting of the actors especially when despair hit everyone when Bane took over Gotham.

Finally, i enjoyed the three twist near the end of the film:
*Miss Tate was the real child of Ra's Al Ghul. I should have known this from the start but the way the film tells the tale of Ra's child in "the Pit", it made you believe Bane was that child.

*Bruce Wayne is still alive. It was heartwarming to know that Alfred's wish to see Bruce leave Gotham to find love and a better life came true.

*Detective Blake's first name. That caught me off guard. It was ingenious for Nolan to not use Grayson, Todd and Drake of the comics but having some of their backstories mixed into Blake's character. And i like the fact the movie ends hinting Blake becomes the new Batman. In fact, i even told my sister that Robin the sidekick does not appear in this movie.

All and all, i give this a movie a 10!

Actually, Bruce did NOT give up being Batman. He simply decided there are better things to do in his down time than locking himself in his mansion. That's why he had the batsignal fixed... To let Gordan know that he is still available if needed.

This is also why Blake can't be the next Batman. But he can't be Robin either; it's too silly to use your real name as your callsign. He is old enough to start as Nightwing.

To me, Blake is Bruce's successor since Bruce has already help Gotham and has reached his limit so he passes on his mantle to Blake as the new Batman since he has the same sense of justice just like him. This is like in the comics when Batman "died", Nightwing took over the mantle as the new Batman. The Bat signal to Gordon was just a message from Bruce to tell him he's still alive.

Also there is Bruces's massage throughout the film. "Anyone can wear the mask." It doesn't matter so much who is Batman, just as long as the right person is willing to be Batman.

I'm having a hard time imagining Batman with neither the Wayne fortune nor the extraordinary skills. All you've got left is a guy in a costume, and we saw in TDK how that went.

As for Blake, I personally think that he might not choose to be exactly what Batman was; perhaps he might adopt a different way of going about to fight crime such as more detective-oriented methods instead of physical, since he already proved that he's a very capable detective. I agree that it would be difficult for him to reach Bruce's level without all that training and financial resources, though, which is why I didn't fully agree with the message of "anyone can be Batman".
