About time. No way they wouldn't animate this.
I originally went into this for BAE but ended up staying for The Cat's Whisker despite I had the worst first impression on them.

I had a pretty similar experience. The Cat's Whisker are my fav group now despite them having my least favorite introduction song.

I haven't tried looking up translations of any of their drama CD's, but any chance we'll get whatever those stories are, or are we likely to get something anime original? And please tell whatever world they live in is less wacky then Hyponosis Mic's.

No words if the anime is following the story of the first season drama CD or something else. But doing the the drama CD story should be the logical choice.
And the world setting is pretty normal compare to HypMic.
