At this point in the US.... diamonds almost have a sort of "hey, you're wearing real fur" taint to them in the general public because of the blood diamond issues. People buying diamonds are tending to ask where they came from, jewelers try to at least pretend, and many people (like us) have never even purchased one -- they were all inherited.

Speaking of Diamonds: A Planet of Diamonds
It would be silly to try and get it though, since it is moving so fast...(aside from it being 4,000 light years away.)

I seem to recall the subject of a diamond core came up in the novel 2010 (or if not, 2061 for sure). The blood diamonds didn't quite come up in 2061, but the diamond trade and South Africa came up involving terrorism in space due to the speculation of a mountain of diamond in the "former" Jovian system.

How to hack like a News of the World reporter (3:10)
Sometimes, when all you need is to enable a password protection to prevent your VM from being spoofed, it is strange to understand why people still get their phones hacked.

Seriously, all the software security companies can set up all the most complex parameters to secure your data, but ultimately, the person running the server is still the weakest link. I remember reading about an article where NSA spooks left thumbdrives in the carpark for their staff to pick up, and see which idiot is dumb enough to plug it into a secure network.
