There has to be an overrulling. Because if not, the final page has totally made Subaru the arch-villain of this arc. The stalker was something, but that creepy-ass demon looming over Takumi definitely takes the cake.

Ask your friends, A WHOLE LOT OF THEM to buy different random items at once. Close your curtains when you test things. Dump your trash along with things made my your friends.Honestly though, I don't know how Stalker kun can figure out exactly what Souma is going to cook and how he is going to do it since unlike Tatsumi, Souma's dishes are really original.He doesn't really follow a single recipe.

I think you are underestimating stalker's OPiness. He started stalking Takumi since two weeks ago which is subtly stating that he started stalking all seven opponents since they passed the pelim. It's too late for any of them to start making prep to counter him since he already knows everything about the other final three. Your background, though process is all within his grasp. They only way to beat him is straight up beating him with a dish that is so good not even he can copy it.

Well, the topic of the next match hasn't even been revealed yet. They've got plenty of chance to try something original. Souma is definitely the least vulnerable because his dishes are more or less completely original. In addition, I think an easier way out of this would be to......CALL THE COPS! THERE'S A STALKER ON THE LOOSE!But of course they won't do anything like this because they all think they are the top brass of the kitchen.

The dish being original has no effect. Let's just say for example the match between Soma and Stalker involves Pizza and they are told the topic two days beforehand. Soma creates a new dish for the match but Stalker having collected his information already predicted what kind of new dish he is gonna make and updates it. Even if he doesn't practice and creates the dish during the match Stalker will just predict THAT and copies his dish before Soma even creates it. (A chicken or the egg sort of deal.)

He's not really that great. He knows what Tatsumi is going to cook because he saw the ingredients he bought.There's a myriad of things Tatsumi could have cooked.He also predicts what people cooks based on things they have cooked in the past. Basically, he knows that Tatsumi is most likely going to cook something from his restaurant. He got confirmation of what it is based on salvaging his trash and looking at what he bought. He also analyses people's habits carefully. Something like that ain't gonna work if someone knows what he's up to. By all means, if someone knows his tactics, there's a myriad of ways they can counter him. Ultimately, even if he is good at predicating what people will cook based upon their personality, he ain't a psychic.There's plenty of ways to cheat him.This is especially the case for Souma in particular. Souma's way of cooking doesn't have any kind of pattern. He's totally unpredictable. He's someone who experiments all the time sometimes not even knowing what exactly he's doing. He's not the type who cooks something because he's particularly good at it but because he suddenly thought of a good way cooking something that fits the topic.The difference between the MC and other characters is that every character sticks to a particular style of cooking(Tatsumi for Italian food and Curry-kun for curry) and thinks that their type of cooking is the best while Souma is basically trained by his father to be adapt in almost all situations for all kinds of food. He's basically got no particular style of food that someone can guess from while Tatsumi and Curry-kun does.

Souma will create the Squid dish and when Stalker-san copies and "improves" it, his will taste even worse, because if Stalker-san's dishes are always better than the original by x1.1, then you just need a dish with a "negative taste".
