Just needs couple of super volcanoes to send human civilization back to the stone age. We can all display our junks in the open again without prejudice. How awesome would that be?

Is it bad that when I first heard the name of the island, all of could of was that I swore I'd heard its name or something very similar used as a "tribal chant" in some old 90's show/cartoon? Couldn't tell you which one though.

Anyways, the craziest thing to me is how a volcanic explosion is responsible for triggering some tsunamies- apparently it's not unprecedented, but it IS very rare.

Beyond that, this has now become yesterday's news, so so much for world-ending explosion. I should research and see how it compared to Krakatoa around 160 years ago.
