Parrying is satisfying to pull off, but I'm having problems with the direction of where the analog stick should be pointing at
Another thing- lock on doesn't keep you facing the target does it? I was under the impression that it's suppose to be like Dark Souls' lock on but that doesn't seem to be the case... Anyway with my half-assed skills I've defeated Blade Wolf but died a few times to the Ray, and probably used like 2 rations or something. I'll recommend jumping in straight to Hard mode as Normal and Easy are probably meant for MGS fans who aren't used to playing HnS games. Also, I've got to learn to control myself to not span horizon slash during blade mode... Wasted too much energy there Probably should also try to aim at other places for more BP. You're a good person!

3 days....3 DAYS!
But I'm going to have such a problem with my copy. Here's the story. I'm living with my sister for a month, started doing this on tuesday. She has a PS3, and my copy of the game was pre-ordered where she lives, not where I live. My mom pre-ordered it for me for Christmas. The problem I have is that once I get the game....I'll want to do nothing but play it. However, if I play it, beat it, and unlock goodies on her PS3, when I get back to my PS3, I'll have to start ALL OVER again. What do you guys think? Hold off on playing it till I get back home, or dive into it once I get it? |

If you have a SD card you can just copy and transfer the save data over to the other PS3 yeah?
If that's not an option though, it's probably better to play it on the console you use the most.

I've never done this before. :/ So I'm not too well informed about it. |

I don't really see the logic on why your save game data would be connected to PSN since that would mean if you didn't have an internet connection you could never save your game, which isn't really fair. It's saved to the hard-drive of the console itself, similar to a computer. If you copy that data on to a portable storage device, namely an SD card, you should be able to re-copy it into any other PS3 and continue using the data.
The main things PSN keeps track of are your store purchases and downloads, trophies obtained, friend list and things like PlaytationHome progress. It shouldn't matter what console you use for that either, and if you remember your username and password, you should be able to sign on to your PSN account from any PS3 too.

You should have no problem transferring the save unless it is protected (that was the case for Bayonetta, so it's possible it's the same for MGR). Trophies will be locked on your PSN profile though. If you care about them, I think you can just switch to your account on your sister's PS3.

Meh MGS4 Raiden is almost the same as White Raiden but younger looking.
I won't waste money on alternate skins since they add nothing to the gameplay (unless MGS4 Raiden can shoot lightnings...) For me the only good DLC is Samuel's story and possibly the talking Soul Snake Sword. Last edited by Mad Pierrot; 2013-02-16 at 20:58. |

Yes, it will focus in his past and it appears it involves Bladewolf too.

Apparently, if you input the infamous Konami code, you can unlock Very Hard and Revengence mode right off the bat

I'm playing hard mood as my first time and it's pretty much DMC/NG normal mode so I would recommend those who are already familiar with the controls from playing the demo twenty times to jump right into Very Hard
As for me... I'm getting my ass handed to me by the new UGs in the second chapter... I've only just recently figured out how to reliably pull off the special moves, but doing that in combat is another story....
