Someone needs to be fired or at least demoted for that decision. Seriously, this is not GBF. You're not suppose to recycle HG Alex for HG Tristan. Even if they're lazy, they could've recycled HG RX-78-2 Revive and it would've worked a lot better.

The Shot Lancer also still retains the rifle function, so why not? If the pilots prefer that weapon then so be it. If not, they can still choose to bring the usual rifle. Plus, bridging the gap between CCA & F91 is cool . Just like how Unicorn bridging the Hathaway's Flash era by showing the Gustavs.

Eh, Okay then, but I still don’t like f91 onwards till Reconguista, my reason is mostly due to disliking micronization, both in-universe and in the form of shorter gundam models, I can put up with the Loto since its more troop carrier than Mobile suit but leave me out of late UC, I understand you guys like it so okay, go ahead, only kits I bought of late UC are the Crossbone x-1 and LM312V04 and I’m really dissapointed in them being shorter than the rest of my otherwise uniform in height models.

IIRC the Lotos are already there in the novel so I don't really count that as an extra effort if true. On the other hand, IIRC the proto Shot Lancer and the Gustavs weren't in the original novels of Twilight Axis & Unicorn, so I'll give credits to the anime-staffs for their extra work in bridging the gaps between eras.

To me, variation is never bad. The MSs in UC-verse developed rather naturally to fit what the era needed, just like cellphones. There was an era where CPs started big before gradually becoming smaller and smaller before the rising popularity of touchscreen smartphones with their big screens that made CP's size grew large again. Same thing with cars & fighter planes. Now, small drones can be more effective and/or efficient in a good number of operations than sending F-22s.

Yup, I know. The Lotos is built-in future bridging in the Unicorn novel. Twilight Axis novel also has built-in future bridging in the form of Meitzer Ronah. But what I want to appreciate here is the anime-staffs going the extra mile by making some more bridging that's not even in the novels (hence Jegan's Shot Lancer and Gustav Karls ).

also note that Jupiter Empire has the EMS-07 Erebado which is a Xenomorph of the Alien franchise in Mobile Suit form, that maybe because the Jovian engineers were a huge fan of H.R. Giger.

On another news, Twilight Axis manga adaptation of the novel is about to end. Here's hoping someone would be kind enough to fansub it if no one license it.
