Oda once again proves that no one does wacky yet interesting character interactions in huge numbers ((>5)) like the man himself.
THRILLER PARK? That sounds eiriely familiar... Eneru = Eminem. Spandam = Mankind/Mick Foley. Thriller Park Boss = Micheal Jackson!? I mean...We already have a violin-playing perverted crack skeleton with a legendary afro, what's a shadow-stealing, pedophilic dancing zombie in comparison?

Well, I doubt that he's die by by say, getting caught with Seastone or by Blackbeard's anti-DF ability, but Brooke's definitely still an ability user. But the fact that he was able to run on water was merely because he's so light (and as I mentioned before, that would make things very advantageous for him).
Oh, and it turns out that "Thriller Park" is a mistranslation (too bad, since it sounds so cool..). The correct translation of the island's name isn't really clear yet, but it's apparently most likely called "Thrillerburke", or "Thrillerbarque", or something like that. Maybe the next chapter will make the name of the place clear to us.... |

Did you notice? In that one flashback-picture, when brooke says he saw someone die from sunlight, it clearly shows that someone is standing in front of brooke, probably to save him with his shadow.
i can see a tragic flashback coming and you know what a tragic flashback usually means! |
